He was in a bad place at Carlton, so his mental state probably has a lot to do with the football he is now playing.

Great point DeeZee.  I can recall some supporters being a little dubious about his recruitment, and rightly so, due to what had been happening off the field in 2014.  Then he had a few issues with the courts and plenty were up in arms about it.

It's a credit to both Garlett and the club with how well he has turned his life and career around, and long may it continue!
