????? Blues-95? Pies-2010? Bombers-2000? Hawks-2013? Eagles-2006?

the Swans won their first for 72 years, in 2005, then again in 2012.

the Cats won their first for 44 Years in 2007, then others in 2009, & 2011.

Melbourne 2015, 2016, 2017?

Hoping.......

As much as it burns that the Swans were able to get both Buddy and Tippett, I really enjoyed watching the cats get murdered last night. Cats fans have become complacent, they needed to given a dose of their own medicine.

Dont you mean Adrian Anderson? Vlad was on holidays mate, he dodged the tanking questions like Mayweather for years, AA wanted to be a big shot and prove himself.

Don't you mean the AFL commission?

Carltank were the most Obvious perpetrators in the Kreuzer Cup, amongst most of the clubs in comp', to pull the handbrake. And Carltank are heavily represented on the Commission.

Northern Queensland Cairns/Townsville I reckon will be their next target.

After that they'll either look to Tassie or NZ for a 20th team. Tassie if they just want a smooth transition. New Zealand if they want to go international which I don't believe they're that keen on doing, but we'll see.

Any new club has to be able to fund its running thru growth, So I reckon the International flavour will appeal.

I think Tassie will have the 2 teams dropping in, Hawks & Roos.

But the Kiwis will have to be able to supply enough young talent to grow the talent pool of Aussie rules competitors.

I enjoyed seeing the Cats get a taste of their own. I especially enjoyed seeing Stevie J struggle and remembered how he lairised in the 186 game.

But it's a long way from the end of the Cat empire. Missing their key defender who would've taken Buddy, plus a couple more, throw in consecutive six day breaks and a trip interstate and this game, as impressive as the Swans were, still must be counted as a possible aberration.

Still, a forward line of Buddy, Tippet with Goodes drifting down is something to envy. If Hogan comes good we might even see something similar with Dawes, Watts/Howie.
