Games you have on video/dvds

Featured Replies

Hi

Does anyone collect Melbourne games on dvd. I am mainly looking for games from 1991-2005. I have a large collection of games myself and am looking for someone to trade some game with. If so you can contact me on [email protected]

I've got the Melb v Carlton first final where we came back from a 20+ 3 quarter time deficit. And the massive come back in 2008.

I have approx. 90% of all winning games between 1987 and now. I have missed a few mainly when my video machine was down. In that lot would be about 20 name a games the rest would be recorded off of TV.

The quality of some leaves a lot to be desired, recorded from VHS to disk.

In a few years time I will give them all away as my daughters don't want to have to go through my wifes and my nick nacks and dispose of them. A lot of MFC nick nacks will be given away to a good MFC home. Better than daughters chucking them away. I collect MFC throwaway items, eg all them paperwork and proxy voting forms from the merger, all the different car stickers MFC has issued except I missed 1993, DAM.

A lot of the old teamworks mags, annual reports, membership cards as well as the footy cards etc.

I've been collecting games over the last couple of years. Started off just wanting some stuff from the Northey era and has turned into a pretty decent collection including State of Origin games, finals not including Melbourne and games from the early 80's to today. I'll email you shortly with my list and see if there's anything you're keen on.

Also ex52k2 you should probably contact the club about those collectible items, they may want to get their hands on some of that stuff they've neglected over the years. Otherwise PM me before you decide to just chuck it away.

I can vouch for Dr Gonzo's collection, we did some trade a while back.

Anyone have our win against the Eagles (Round 9, Sunday, 23rd May 1993), was the first game I went to, but not on Name A Game catalogue.
