Bennell was good today...along with Jetta it was a large part of our 3rd Q revival.

With an experienced midfield around him Bennell could be a very good player...Patience is still needed...our midfield is still too young to bring out the best in JB....(Jetta's one hander in front of the MCC was awesome BTW)

Certainly. His last two weeks have been fantastic. He still hasn't strung a full four quarter game together, but he's shown glimpses of maturity over the last two weeks.

For me, Bennell took over the Brad Miller emotional niche. The Richmond fans are calling Miller 'The Almost Man'.

Drives me mad that he can seem so good, yet so often contribute relatively little.

But in Bennell's favour, he's still a kid.

I still find him frustrating, but enjoy the signs of improvement.

I like that 'almost Benny' is having a go - go. He's going at the contest and in the air to do the spoiling & contested ball. it's a good start.

I like Bennell but want him to impose himself on games more. He's quick...which means his cousin is really, really quick because JB couldn't catch him on the burst.
