You're happy with what you are doing so do whatever you want. If you want to blame we old buggers go for it if that makes you happy. You don't sound like a happy man, but then what would an old bugger know.

Don't give up H if all us "old Buggers" gave up the membership total would halve.

I agree Robbief but no more for me I am bitching loud and clear.

After Geelong I sent back my scarf.

I have written 3 letters to different people at the club this year.

I now question everything.

Essendon, Carlton members [censored] big time and have ever since I can remember.

The result they get results.

It is put up or shut up time!

Good on you OD it's time to stop the passive acceptance and start to ask some questions. Ours is a club that is worth something now and the right management could put us on the road to success both on and off the field, this may or may not be the right one, I hope it is.

The old saying is if you expect nothing that's exactly what you get, nothing and we've got nothing for far too long.

Read carefully, I included myself in that, I'm a supporter of over 55 years.

I think the problem most supporters have is that they don't have access to the club to ask the questions you want asked.

We can only really rely on what is spoonfed to us by the club.

I'm generally not well enough informed of all the inner workings of the club to make a genuine assessment.

None of us are you only get what they want to give you unless you have access to a staff member or board member who is a bit disgruntled and wants to spill the beans.

Mind you some staff members would love the attention of being feted by a celebrity member of the press and may give out more than he should. Shhh! don't tell anyone but guess what........

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
