Meddling Clubs Get St-ffed

I don't see anything wrong with what Bailey said in answer to Robinson's question.

He didn't admit "tanking" - that is all in the interpretation of the listener.

What he said perfectly fit with the company line of development, but people choose to view it in a different light due to their prejudices.

Agree. I'd suggest the media contingent took something out of it (even collectively post interview) and ran with it. That's how they interpreted it...hence headline 'stuff.'

If we compared such statement from Bailey to that of what he stated back in 2009, I would imagine there wouldn't be much of a difference.

What some of the luddites here and elsewhere failed to grasp was that it was a loaded question. There were practically no ways out of it anbd yet I thought Dean somewhat skirted it quite admirably. The hyhenas were waiting , salivating at the propsect of any morsel being offered upon which they could attach their agendered , preconceived ambush.

Its the elephant everyone knows exists. Its an animal of the AFL's creating. The journos etc are tilting at Vlads windmill and theres no hope in hell that he'll change his stance, nor could he.

The AFL is all about scurrilous 'development' no matter which path it takes, and theyre very good at building paths !!
