The fact that Dean Bailey allowed that crap to ferment shows the club has made EXACTLY the right decision and that we need a coach to discipline this stupid bunch of front runners who have begun to confuse the size of their talent with the size of their paychecks . Look forward to seeing what Green and Rivers can do ON the field . The players should stick to football if they want to ensure their jobs .

This site is quite Gladiatorial and it seems to me you are usually involved, not a good look for a Moderator.

I have tried to be on my best behaviour here after a tumultuous period at Ology so I'm not sure what your point is there.

As for Junior being on of the mates; if he was he wouldn't have been given the flick would he?

As far as Gladiatrorial is concerned Robbie you have doing the Russell Crowe to a broad spectrum of posters ever since you joined. Seems you could not get enough on Ology.

Any issue with employing Junior on the basis that he is actually the best candidate for an actual job at MFC? Its not a hard nor unreasonable criteria.

Mate i have read and posted on this board for a while now and you would rank as the most vicious, spiteful and vindictive poster i've come across and you are supposed to be a moderator, what a joke.

If Junior wants to come back to the club and he's qualified for the job then i'd welcome him back, he has a big heart and was just the sort of player that our young kids should mould themselves on, skills aside. He may be able to show some of them how to hold a tackle; he was probably number 1 or 2 in his last year for tackles laid per game.

I'm not interested in getting in to a slanging match with you, you know how I feel, I know how you feel, let's leave it at that.

Yes, leave it at that.

The basis of my post regarding Junior as an option to be involved at the club would be on the basis of my belief that he is more than qualified, having just been out of the game, a former captain, good leader, good mentor for young players. But as I said only if their were no grievances with current employees of the club. I don't think he'd be considered one of the 'mates' either.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
