Davey for Captain?

Featured Replies

In this article it says that Aaron Davey is keen to be the next Melbourne captain. I think he would be good but not the best - http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/106913/default.aspx

What do you think?

Green IMO is the best suited right now, however if Davey got it I would not be surprised or disappointed,Davey as captain could lift the aboriginal boys to new heights. Davey should be made at least one of the V/C if not the real McCoy.Now Frawley has gone down it is very important that Rivers also gets a senior berth in the leadership group - most possbly as a Deputy V/C.

Too soon for Aaron. IMO he needs to keep improving,,, and further maturing.

Green or Moloney for mine first.

I think it'll be Davey that gets the nod, and I'd love to see him get it. Having said that, you can expect anyone but Davey to be captain.

Wouldn't have an issue with it but would prefer Green.
