From 10 to 3 this Saturday at Etihad Stadium, Gate 2. I could definitely do with a few posters, a flag, a T-shirt...especially since it's so cheap.

Would there be an extra 10% off with our memberships though?

Oh well, 70%'s still a big saving

Yeah, once I walked into that place with 10 membership cards and demanded that everything be handed over for free.

70% is great, but I already have two 2010 jumpers

The wording is "up to 70% off" which means there will probably be a couple of fremantle stubby holders that are marked down from $5 to $1.50, and the rest will be 5%-10% off.

I'm not sure if it applies to this sale, but Essendon FC get a percentage of all sales from the Etihad Stadium merchandise outlets. Thats enough to turn me away.

Pricks.

Yeah if I'm buying anything MFC or AFL related I always get it from the Melbourne shop to ensure the money goes to the club even if it is sometimes a bit more than elsewhere.

Apparently MFC are not attending this.....

I know the guy who runs Hawksnest and he said MFC will not be there!!!

Yeah, won a signed copy of that during the year.

Decent read.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
