Travis Tuck in drug overdose ...

Featured Replies

Travis Tuck can still be a champion, drugs have nothing to do with football...

Lets not forget that back in the day champions were smoking ciggies in the changeroom at halftime, who's to say what they were doing off the field.

IMO parents need to be parents. Ben Cousins or Travis Tuck are ONLY role models when they cross the white line and play football. Off the field it is the parents responsibility to ensure the kid doesnt get into drugs, etc and be a role model for life.

Tuck needs support from family & friends, and obviously needs to get his head right as he will be training for his life come Nov / Dec.

Tuck apparently will be rookie listed or at least a spot held for him to prove himself, this is a great thing, Tuck should realise that the ride is over and now its all up to him.

Personally i wish the kid all the best and hope to see him playing well (not against the demons!) very very soon.

Hope you weren't meaning the "I wouldn't have a clue" point ;);)

Truth be told, I only read the first 2 lines.

Cousins got 12 months on 2 strikes coz the cops found viagra in his car.

Tuck gets 12 weeks for 3 strikes & an overdose.

Something doesn't add up.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
