What, you dont like ?

Jacobs to Port

Trengrove to Melbourne

Warnock to Carlton

I'd take that in a heartbeat

That doesn't turn out well because Port comes to their senses and demands our 1st round pick along with Warnock.

ah, but now you are shifting the goalposts - fail

of course its not going to happen, thats why I said I'd take it in a heartbeat

I skipped over it because it clearly won't happen.

Of course it's favourable.

But I ignored it.

If it actually happens I'll be high as a kite.

It won't.

It may well happen, If he wants to come home to Melb.

That would never happen.

Why would Carlton (who are lacking tall agile defenders) sit back and watch Trengove (who's parents board Kane Lucas) head to Melbourne as part of a deal where they receive just Warnock?

They would probably just deal with Port directly in the unlikely scenario that Jackson wanted to leave.

Wasn't me who proposed it

I just said I'd take it (bet you would too)

Warnock is already to roll, & is a known player. Carlton are trying to push top 4 next year.

Trengove is still an unknown talent.

I suppose that if they get Tarrant, they will then try to grab Jackson Trengove as well.

This is against our interests, in the timeframe of things "Windows".
