Coodabeens on ABC

Featured Replies

So, the coodabeens are banging on about all of us going to the snow etc etc etc

Insulting as usual

As usual, the only answer is to get to the G on Monday.

(after the exams - imagine - exams on QBirthday Monday - at least it's in the a.m.)

We need an anti-dotal irreveRant musical right of reply,,,,,,,,,, to be played on SEN??? :)

People still listen to the coodabeen champions?

They're still on radio?!?

I look forward to my Saturday morning Coodabeens fix. That's probably because I've noticed something that seems to escape some of the posters here: they bag EVERYONE. Maybe if you start frothing at the mouth when you hear the words "Melbourne" and "snow" used in the same sentence it's might be better that you find a different show to listen to (or get a humour transplant - either would work).

I think Simon Whelan who is now a county court (?) judge used to do Ivan on the calls. Simon's wit is sadly missed on the C'Beens.

Simon was the star of the Coodabeens and, like you say, he is missed. So is Tony Leonard. The show has lacked an edge ever since those two pulled the pin. But I still might even listen if they dump the dismal Greg Champion songs.
