Tanking & Coll^$(#wood

I know many here are against tanking for draft picks but would you be in favour of tanking a game if it meant our opponent would push Colling%$#wood out of the finals or the final top 4?

I'd probably make some noise about it being a crappy thing to do but, as long as it was a one off, I'd have a secret giggle about it.

There are some things more important than football. I think it's our duty to mankind.

tanking for draft pics...NO

Tanking to stuff Collingwood's chances in finals...YES

I would rather be on 3 wins come round 21 and beat Carlton to knock them out of the finals. In the same process inflict injuries on Judd CJ and Warnock that would hamper their pre season preparations for the 2010 season.

Do we really need to 'inflict' an injury on CJ? Think he would do more harm to hamper their season in the Carlton side than out!

Seriously though, I would love to beat Carlton for our 4th win.

Collingwood have an uncanny knack of making finals

They will do as they usually do when it comes to the Flag

Lose

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
