NAB Challenge Match

Featured Replies

NAB Challenge match this week versus the Swans at Visy Park on Saturday at 1pm.

No details on costings as yet, but I'd assume members would get a free ride.

Small amount of info here:

NAB Challenge Cup

Then its semmingly off to the bush the following week, and possibly Casey the week after (surely the AFL can do us one favour with that one)

Bugger, last round of summer tennis on Saturday. After getting defeated last Saturday we need a miracle to make the finals; I would rather go to the footy, even if it is at Princes Park.

Why is this not being played at Casey?

Venues would have been selected a fair while back in order to book them, so Casey would have been good if we knew we were going to lose, but otherwise would have been horrible for our growth out that way if the Hawks were to play there this week.

Casey is the week after.

or 2 weeks? in line with the final I thought they said at the intra club game.

or 2 weeks?

Yep - we're scheduled to play at Casey in the final round of the NAB Challenge.

The link in the OP confirms that.

No prior "Engagements" that day, I'll be there

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
