My suggested trade for another Top 10 Pick.

Melbourne - Pick 3 (Freo), 6 (Carlton), 19 (same), 21 (Freo), 35 (same), 39 (Carlton)

Fremantle - Pick 1 (Melb), 17 (Melb)

Carlton - Warnock (Freo) and Bate (Melb), 24 (same)

Note:

M. Warnock (Melb) could also go to Carlton for there Pick 39 to get the deal done. That brings the bro's together not at Melbourne but at Carlton. I rate M.Warnock, however is 25.

Is this outrageous? Or realistically viable for all three clubs?

Freo would be giving up a lot just to move up a few spots in the draft, not to mention the fact they essentially lose a player ( 2 draft picks & a player for 2 draft picks only.

Other than that its completely... absurd.

Would love it to go through though. Keep on dreaming...

I think for them to gain Pick 1 b4 the Eagles is huge. Freo get their man in Daniel Rich. West Coast miss out. They will gain 4 spots with their next pick. That will be pick 17. Carlton are offering Freo Pick 24 for Warnock. Freo want more! But could lose him in the PSD to Melbourne. How far do they go with Warnock?

How about this then;

Melbourne - Picks 3, 6, 19, 21 and 39

Fremantle - Picks 1, 17, 35

Carlton - R. Warnock, M. Bate, 24, M.Warnock

Do it. Now. Before they have a chance to change their minds.

Good idea , but it won't work . Carlton won't give up pick 6 . Unless we bid for Warnock they will get him for pick 24 .

Well.......

25 years old - game over.

You do realise that it's not uncommon for decent full backs to play a handy role into at least their early 30s don't you?

The dees do need another top 20 draft pick, as the mail is that pick 19 will almost certainly be traded in one deal, whether it be warnock, or another player

Great Idea, Lets trade Warnock because he is 25! We have been waiting so long for decent Backmen, along with Rivers! Lets start all over again! They only backmen we should be trading/delisting is Carrol! The only reason why we lost so many games this year was because we couldn't stop the supply from the hb and midfield. That and we didnt have a target up forward to kick it to.

"Draft picks, Dee's gain another Top 10 Pick" is a pretty definite (misleading?) statement. Could it be modified please?

On topic, hasn't Bailey said that no picks will be traded, Or was that just (traded) for players? Coffee time.

Warnock is 25 and has had a break out year. But if we want to get another top 10 pick we have to give to get something. You cant give nothing. Hawthorn gave up Croad and McPharlin for Pick 1 (Hodge). Now look at them. gotta give to get! Have some balls else you leave yourself just wondering. What if!

I would like to see somebody else have a crack at putting a deal together to gain a top 10 pick. No real creative minds on this forum. Instead of being critical, why does'nt somebody try suggest something to make it work?

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
