"The Western Bulldogs knocked them over to the tune of 31 points with Mark Jamar kicked 3 goals "

Do not know where they got that info

Has he even kicked three goals in his career

Now I realise we are all biased, but honestly that was ridiculous........

A bit of a giggle.. anyone would be excused for thinking they were far removed from us on the ladder..instead of our neighbour but for percentage !!:rolleyes:

"Melbourne put through 5 unanswered goals in the third term, then 4 to open and close the last to win by 7 points. 17.17 (119) to 15.23 (113)"

my favourite part of the site. there is a post a few down (by jason) that goes like this...

I fully expect the Dockers will get stripped of any early draft picks for 'tanking' - even if we've only got fit little leaguer's to run out on the paddock. Melbourne and Wet Toast will then be offered our pick as 'compensation' for having had to play the Docker's twice.

it is laughable considering the dockers are the only team ever (that i can remember) who have been given compensation draft picks...

Ahh yes, its so nice to see their victim mentality is alive and well  !!!

Funny they didn't mention anything about how bad a player colin garland is, as they did in the last match preview. i wonder why.....

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
