One of the best sporting weekends ever for me

Featured Replies

On Friday morning I got up at 4:30 to watch the Rangers win on penalties to make the Uefa cup final, stayed up to watch Bolton Wandereres beat Sunderland 2-0 in the EPL and 99% guarantee survival and then after 4 hours sleep rock up to the G to watch one of the best comebacks if not the best in the clubs history!

Come on Ger's! Come on you trotters! Carn the Dee's!

Similar for m Condemned...Forest gained promotion back to the championship after a 3-2 win, and other results went their way on the final day of the season...and then to cap it off, Melbourne coming back from the dead, and breathing much needed life back into the club...GO DEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see Stoke make it, my mate in England is devastated as he is a foxes fan.

Haha, Condemned84 did you wear your 'Trotters' kit to the game, I saw someone wearing one anyway!

Lucky for you my Spurs put Reading down into the drop zone...

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
