  1. I can't believe Bail is 91 kg, typo?
  2. Some guy who wasn't very good for Collingwood and Essendon, wasn't very good as an umpire and now isn't very good in his role with the MRP.
  3. Melbourne's kick ins have been great over recent weeks. I've noticed that they never go for the chip to the pocket sideways anymore which usually ends in disaster.
  4. It is, often because the winning team is first to the ball but the umpire that paid the deliberate rushed behind should not be umpiring next week. McLaren was dropped because he made the same mistake and so should that umpire.
  5. You go and play footy in the wet and tell me how easy it is to move the ball with "speed and precision".
  6. No idea how Bennell got votes. Bail is becoming one of my favourite players very quickly. 6. Bail 5. Sylvia 4. Bruce 3. McKenzie 2. Frawley 1. Rivers
  7. You genuinely believe that handpassing in the rain is better than long kicking? I've been a critic of Bailey in the past but I believe him moving to the bench has been a cornerstone in the team's recent good form.
  8. A ten goal win and a North loss would put Melbourne in the eight at the end of the round...
  9. Even if Watts kicked five goals I would be annoyed because too often he still shirked the contest or didn't go hard enough for the ball.
  10. 6. Davey 5. Dunn 4. Green 3. Jurrah 2. Frawley 1. Scully
  11. Watts - Looks like Jane, plays like Jane Getting very sick of him not going hard for the ball when it is his turn.
  12. Instead we have dimwits such as Kevin Bartlett making decisions about the game...
  13. The AFL should bring in two goal umpires at each end, been calling it for years. Lots of mistakes in the past few weeks.
  14. Tapscott throwing his body at Hunt to force a turnover was pretty damn good, can't wait to see him in the red and blue.
  15. The problem for Melbourne is that they have the lowest supporter base and it won't grow substantially if they just rely on the MCG connection. Casey provides an opportunity to grow the supporter base while still having the MCG connection. This argument has been done to death but for low drawing games I would prefer (in an ideal world) for Melbourne to play at Casey rather than say Canberra, Darwin or Tasmania.
  16. Well I will eat my words, the surface looks terrible from TV which is a real surprise to me. Every other time that I have seen the ground it has been immaculate.
  17. The surface at Casey is one of the best on the country.
  18. I love it. It is busy, but not too busy. Does anyone know when and where will it be used? Will it replace the square logo?
  19. How Essendon and Carlton have gone this season has nothing to do with where they finished last year. I can't believe people don't want Melbourne to make the finals. What a pathetic attitude to have.
  20. I have become a massive fan of Bail, he is quick, glides across the ground, gets the hard ball and uses it well. I've mentioned it before but I saw him play for Casey and he was fairly average but when playing for Melbourne he seems a lot better, suits the way the game in the AFL is played more.
  21. 6. Sylvia 5. Dunn 4. Frawley 3. Bail 2. Macdonald 1. Bartram
  22. I love Jurrah, but his second efforts were poor and looked a little lazy at times.
  23. Judd is a shadow of the player he was at West Coast.
  24. Ricky Petard was listed on the injury list on the big screen before the game yesterday.
  25. Sylvia set the tone there, my criticism of him is that too often gets caught standing back and watching but today he was in and under and his tackling was brilliant.
