The draft is the single most important day for any AFL club and now it is clear that even Carlton are worse at it than Melbourne. They should be a powerhouse of the AFL right now. The problem for Carlton is their poor recruiting (outside of Cripps) is still going (first round pick for Blaine Boekhorst) whereas Jason Taylor stemmed the bleeding for us. I don't think it's a coincidence that Carlton have been so poor since Barry Prendergast arrived at their club. Good work, Barry.
