This. If I was the AFL, I wouldn't want as many white clash jumpers. I can understand teams that have white as a main colour using a white clash jumper but one of the great attractions of the game is the bright and colourful jumpers. It's taken them a long time but West Coast now realise this and have an yellow clash, Richmond's yellow clash is great and Adelaide's was excellent this year (sadly they are going back to white next year).

I’m fairly certain Toumpas got a three year contract when he was traded.

If Brayshaw goes to Port Adelaide they will have our former picks 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The gamble is going into the next two drafts without a first round pick (assuming we don't pick any up in trades before then).

It's a huge gamble because there are other areas in our list that need improving more than the defensive half. I realise that Plugger will now play forward, but that still leaves us with O. McDonald and Frost down back as well.

I think it's a huge gamble but we may trade our way back into the draft by the end of the trade period so I'll wait until then to fully judge.
