  1. He has the Sydney and Hawthorn frame, lean yet strong through the hips.
  2. For those who are wondering what this crazy nutter is on about, watch this passage by Kent at the start.
  3. Bump. Today we had Tyson get caught holding the ball after taking a mark in the middle of the ground, Gawn handpass into the man on the mark, vandenBerg on the half forward line handpass to Jones who was under pressure instead of just kicking it himself and Kent take so long to get back behind the man on the mark on the half forward line that was forced to go sideways which was turned over and resulted in a Gold Coast goal. Why can we not get the basics of making practical decision from a mark or free kick right? How hard is it to get back quickly behind the mark and not kick under unnecessary pressure?
  4. Terrible news, I rate him.
  5. No doubt Mathieson needs to change for his own safety at the very least, but our players should have been smarter in how and when they tackled him.
  6. Our players need to improve their tackling as much as anything.
  7. He's already had his jaw or cheek broken this year.
  8. I was talking about Petracca, but I agree Stretch is very good young player, so clean and composed as others have mentioned.
  9. With every game he is picking up the pace better and better, he doesn't have the natural football smarts that Oliver does (few in the AFL do) but he more than plays his role.
  10. I actually felt sorry for the Brisbane supporters around me because I could relate to their team being so bad but then I remembered they saw their team win three premierships in a row and then I stopped caring.
  11. He was ducking and yet our players still tackled poorly allowing the free kicks to be drawn.
  12. Still had a slight stutter but the big difference for me is he wasn't holding the ball over his left foot like he does now.
  13. He kicked seven goals under the roof of Etihad. His kicking lacks penetration and is therefore far more likely to be impacted by even the slightest breeze.
  14. Is Hogan too stubborn to work on his kicking action?
  15. True, but at least we have some ability to negotiate (as opposed to walking out as a free agent). Based purely on my gut instinct I think he's gone, I don't think it will be money I just think he will want to be back in WA.
  16. Who else is excited about seeing Fyfe run around in the red and blue?
  17. I don't even know why Hogan needs to go and visit his family in Perth, he has all the family he needs here at Demonland.
  18. The only solution here is to move the whole club to Perth.
  19. On Footyology (Channel 31 show with Rohan Connolly and Mark Fine) they mentioned that during the week David Schwarz gave a speech at Melbourne and apparently Hogan wasn't all that receptive after Schwarz's criticism of Hogan's kicking earlier in the year.
  20. The funny thing, either way he will be earning a lot of money whether it be at Melbourne or another club, yes it may be more elsewhere but enough to pack up and move? If a club is willing to dedicate a large portion of their salary cap to one player then it will be a massive gamble.
  21. He would want to start kicking more goals and cracking the sads less before he commands too much money.
