Is there any radio coverage for this in melbourne?

I used to love the guy but now he is gone i must say im quite happy he is taking in last years form into this game. Slow to react, tackles arent holding, spending a lot of time on the ground but just seems to be running around.

Why does this not surprise me? As soon as a player is out the door, everyone starts talking about how they weren't really that much. If Davey left, everyone would say 'oh we have Jetta and Bennell now so we can afford to miss him'. If Sylvia left, people would say 'that's okay, we don't need people that are in his mental state', if morton left you would say 'he was soft anyway'. You guys turn on players so quickly. You can't keep letting go of quality players. Mclean will fit right into the quartet of Gibbs, murphy and judd and this is the sole reason why Judd will be playing more up forward next season. just like I predicted. P.S Mclean was a heaps better kick than Luke ball and besides Davey was so safe with the footy.

Good post. People who think Mclean only played one good game ever (Elimination final 06) have rocks in their head. Yes he had a poor season this year, but need we remind you he nearly won the Best and fairest the year before playing only half the games.

Thats a shame. But good luck to him. If he can follow in Jurrahs footsteps its the kind of excitement a new team needs.

Have to say when i heard this name i was saying "WHO????". Completely out of leftfield. I dont even remember this kid being in peoples top 30.

I absolutely love this kid. Has the potential to be a Mcleod like player off half back. Very underrated by some supporters (Alot kept kept asking for him to be dropped/rested this year. Obviously weren't watching the same Bennell as me.)

Mclean has always done well in the pre season time trials. Only problem is he drives just as fast as well.

Because its been a few months since we've seen this "High Flyer" in action you could almost forgive yourself in thinking maybe there was hope for him. I'll dress up like superman and streak across the mcg queens birthday 2011 if he is actually still on the list.

Looking forward to some senior action from Strauss next year. If you check out all those jack watts TAC cup carnival footage it is usually strauss hitting him lace out.
