  1. You would get rid of Kent because each of the guys in bold represent better value to us going forward! (Not sure why you would keep Kent and jettison Harmes, Bugg, etc)! ?
  2. Surely we would pay out Garland (and then maybe Casey could draft him in a player / development coach role)? I would also be happy to hang on to Frost and maybe throw in a second round pick as a sweetener for Adelaide. No problems with retaining Keilty on the rookie list for a further year.
  3. A Suns supporter? ?☀️
  4. Frankly, I would rather sacrifice two first rounders and keep Watts (and Frost)! Watts has been here through the bad times and (recent matches aside) was really showing what he was capable of over the last twelve months. Like Hogan, he can be a game-changer when on fire and I would hate to see that happen with Carlton of all teams. i would rather lose pick 12 this year and (optimistically) pick 18 next year and have both Lever and Watts helping us make a serious tilt at the 2018 Premiership!
  5. Bugg for the third
  6. Worse still: some Demonlanders wanted to trade him! ?
  7. 6. Jones 5. Hogan 4. Pederson 3. Hibberd 2. Oliver 1. Melksham
  8. Nice article on Nibbler in this morning's Hun. Unfortunately I don't know how to post a link.
  9. Just important that both Dunn and Howe play so that they can share the excitement of (us) making the finals with their (former) teammates! ?
  10. Watts acquitted himself well today!
  11. I despair at your negative outlook thinking that our membership numbers could contract to five thousand just on the cusp of being a power club for the next decade. I don't agree with you that we are destined to lose 38,000 members and am more inclined to think that we can soar to 50,000!
  12. Some great lists posted but nobody has mentioned that the spot on our list that we have free as a result of HL's retirement.
  13. I just want him to come in and niggle Collingwood, kick 2-3 goals and make Buckley, Howe and Dunn's lives miserable. Casey this weekend then back with a vengeance for the Pies!
  14. It's worked in Collingwood's favour many times. Certainly it has been a long time since people chose to go to Collingwood to secure a Premiership!
  15. Out Weideman, in Hogan!
  16. When Gawn passed to Weideman in the last quarter (when he was dead in front of goals), Weideman missed. Watts would not have! That is one reason why Watts is so valuable in critical matches, even if there are players who out-perform him on tackle counts.
  17. Grew up as an Essendon supporter (assumption based on his father's team) so I could image that he might consider there first.
  18. I was alluding to the following week where we would get 8, 9 or 10 days break by playing on Thursday (c.f. Sunday where we might end up with only a 5, 6 or 7 day break)!
  19. I get that, but if it means that our players front up in the best condition then that is a sacrifice that most members will endure. With Port' and Sydney both a game clear and 17% clear of us on percentage, we have to travel interstate regardless so I would rather see a date that assists our team's preparation than is convenient to the fans.
  20. Playing our first final on a Thursday night would be the best outcome. We would have had a ten day break beforehand and then possibly a nine day break before our next match. Plenty of time to have all our players rested and Hogan cherry ripe!
  21. And Port would probably taken Toumpas over Wines!

    11 wins

Well it sure wasn't years 2012-2014 when we won a total of 12 games (2012=4,2013=2, 2014=4)!
  23. 6. Pedersen 5. Jones 4. Brayshaw 3. Harmes 2. Oliver 1. Hibberd
