  1. I am not including JT in our best 22. If he did get back to fitness, his availability in 2017 would push MFC midfield into one of best in the league.
  2. Sam Frost will be one of the keys to our drive up the ladder. He must stand up as a CHB/Full back to take on and shut down big forwards. He has the pace and size to be the #1 backman.
  3. I would trade out JKH, Watts, 1st round 2017 and 2nd round 2016 for O'Meara.
  4. Great man. Tried but had Schwab and Connelly giving bad advice. Honest and taken too early. RIP DB
  5. I would like to see Jake Lovett at Casey. Impressed in the one game I saw him play. Strong over the footy. Just needs more maturity in decision making and work on his burst pace over 10 metres
  6. Jack Grimes can still be very good as a midfield rotation or medium half back. I think he will start in Casey and then come in to cover needs. Put in our 1st call up for depth.
  7. Cal got the top 15 right... he has some connections
  8. I call it A ... Taylor has picked up 2 gems in Oliver and Weideman
  9. Talia at 11 and Zahararararakis at 18 were my calls. Not great players now but better than Tappy and Gerbals. Scully and Trenners were clear 1 & 2. Martin was a punt by the Tigers. Fyfe was a twig.
  10. He will play in round 1 ... a big pre season ahead and a spot on the wing.
  11. Great call by recruiters. Another mature body mid. Good skills
  12. Thomas Glen Stephen Tahana But rapt if we grabbed Johnathan Simpkin from Hawks
  13. surprised James Parsons missed out. Should get a rookie spot and MFC a good option. Nash Holmes also very unlucky.
  14. Speculative... used to balance list as a key fwd to support Hogan.
  15. Likely rookie who MFC took to balance the list as a backup.
  16. Surprised that the following were not drafted: Thomas Glen Nick O'Kearney Nash Holmes Greg Clark Like to see Nash Holmes get a rookie chance at MFC
  17. a big thank you to Jason Taylor
  18. All to plan ...now ??? our pick???
  19. Hoping... #3 Oliver... bulldozing mid #7 Weideman... classic tall marking forward #42 Mason Redman... skilled goalkicking fwd (Gunston like) #46 Gach Nyuon... Ruck
  20. Definite option in the draft range 40-55
  21. Agree Oliver and Weideman preferred... but the Bombers may grab Parish & Weideman. If so, then happy to grab Mckay
  22. I recall we voted about 80% for Ollie Wines as well. and we know what happened next!!
  23. Agreed. Remember Dangerfield was a punt for the Crows at pick 10. Many had the 17yo Geelong Anglesea boy at 14-20 in his year. "Burst of pace but needs more posessions" !!!!
