Giants looked awful last week and even Deledio didn't look brilliant for them in the reserves i think we should beat them.

Pointless making the 8 if we aren't any threat to the teams in the finals. Right now I doubt any team would go into a game against us feeling confident.

I would much rather beat top 8 sides as consistently as we have and drop the odd game against a bottom side than be totally incapable of beating a good side the way port seem to be

Concerning the amount of passengers we had. When we play our best footy we have 18-22 guys switched in and playing good footy games like that it is more like 8-10 and yet we still could have won. The players seem to have a hard time getting up for games we should win, but love the challenge of better teams

And despite those incredible stats seems to go unnoticed and probably won't be in the votes despite dominating the game.

I think 12 wins would sneak us into 8th but I think we need to keep this one game in context. Our best is good enough to beat any team, our worst we can lose to anyone. This season is so unpredictable that the sides pushing for finals spots probably won't win all the games they're supposed to either. We should beat the pies and lions, and I think that'll be another but if we can best either the giants or saints lock us in. We are a good change in both games with vince and jones back.

I don't see this loss as the end of our finals dream although we now have to win a 50/50 game to lock up our spot. I think we'll knock off the giants, lose to the saints and win the last two

Tyson is about our only midfielder consistently winning the ball. The rest look like they penciled this in as a win before we arrived. If they wanna play finals they better get this in order because this isn't close to good enough against a bottom 3 side. Idgaf about the wind

Olivers consistency gives him a toe chance. I think petracca is also a massive chance of becoming the best player in the comp

Dees by 51. Should be far to strong all over the ground. I suspect watts might get hold of north today as might Garlett and hannan need to tick this one off and focus on knocking off the giants and getting ourselves into top 4

They will be without mumford when they play us.

I think he replaces Vince and plays off half back with stints in the midfield.

Jake lever and Zak jones would be a dream result if we could pull it off.. jones would add pace and precision and lever would be a rock in our backline for a decade

I think it's as much about us having a young group in an even Comp to be honest, I think it'll come. We generally play 3/4 of good footy per game in our wins, when it's 4/4 we will win those games by a lot more

You'd think in 2018 we should get a few more Friday night games so I'm not so concerned with this. Personally I think they should lose the fixture totally and have us play Essendon, given the freeze mnd occasion

I think a huge part is our depth, we have such a deep midfield that if you tag one mid and hibberd and Jeffry you start to be to negative.

Paul Roos said this was the case himself in an interview, when they were discussing dew for another vic role and roosy said family circumstances prevented him joining the dees so unless they had changed he wouldn't be likely

Get the feeling the bombers/dogs game this weekend is basically an elimination final, winner probably makes it loser probably not

I think he is more bias than Eddie.. he can be hard to watch if the bombers have had a win. And suggesting fantasia had had a better year than Garlett is just laughable

I don't think they'd have any intention on taking pick 1 to the draft. I suspect they'll be trying to tempt the afl funded giants into giving up that number 22 bloke

I did the ladder predictor and gave us wins against north, lions and pies. That has us finishing 7th. I think we're a good shot in the other two games so our destiny is in our hands. We'd have to stuff up to miss finals though

Did we get any update on Gawn? i know he went for scans but haven't seen/heard anything. if he's out that makes our run home a little tougher
