Buddy
I suspect that the Swans have already well and truly spent the "buddy savings" elsewhere. If it's "only"$200k they will find it but if he is after a 2 year deal on $700k a year it could be a stretch. If he is traded do the Swans get the free agent compo pick

Joel Smith becoming tantalisingly close at 1-2 weeks

CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
This forward line just isn't working. Assuming Bedford out who goes in Weideman... maybe... but he has been given multiple chances JVR... I would have said not this year but we're desperate and he had a very good game in the wet against Geelong Chandler......is there enough upside Laurie... could be a bolter but I'm not sure Another thought.. play Petracca 70% forward (but who do you put in the middle especially this coming weekend if Oliver is out... Brayshaw?)

CASEY: Rd 16 vs Geelong
Have often thought that there should be a more organised way for players to re-enter the arena. Exit via the wing but perhaps re-enter via either goal. Alternatively the interchange gate is "closed" when the ball is within 50 metres In my simple calculations we have approximately 300 movements through the interchange gates each match

NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
Like a game of snakes and ladders but this year it looks like we have landed on the snake Who would have thought it at 10-0

NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
Assuming you mean Horne Francis I'm sure there's a number of clubs. If Jackson goes West I'd be content with HF and a top 10 pick.

CASEY: Rd 16 vs Geelong
None stood out JVR continuing to audition and looking good for 2023. Chandler... two purple patches with little between Weid.. struggled but not disgraced Hunt... a definite maybe Rivers... needs to learn how to impose himself skills wise Dunstan.. okay Baker... papers stamped Laurie...need to see more of his defensive side Tomlinson...lumbering but it was wet Woewodin..ask me in 2023 Of the above I think Hunt and perhaps Weid or Chandler are possible selections for the red centre PS This game showed how low we are on ruck stocks

CASEY: Rd 16 vs Geelong
Commentators mentioned that the Geelong player came charging off the interchange so perhaps Munro didn't see him

CASEY: Rd 16 vs Geelong
Forward entries this quarter straight out of our AFL handbook. High bombs picked off with monotonous regularity. Strange because the first quarter was a great example of good delivery
