Somewhere in my parents house is the VHS tape of this.

Strangely it brings back good memories of having my picture taken with Robbie Flower at a family day, being there when we won the Night Grand Final and getting into the change rooms after a match (that we won) to have my Demons picture book signed by the players.

Good times.

It seems we usually help good teams that are struggling play back into form. (eg St Kilda)

And occassionally we put a stop to a teams run. (eg Essendon)

Hopefully this week will be the latter with North, Petrie included.

Correct we have the worst midfield in the competition and that's where it all starts.

Yesterday's game highlighted the lack of talent we have in the middle, even when we get the clearance our midfield skills are so poor we cough it up or stuff it up anyway. Compare that to the silky skills of the top club's midfielders, they have all the time in the World we are continually rushed, Swan always looks calm and composed, our mids don't understand what composed means.

And all the midfielders mentioned kick goals. Something we also need.

They would hardly be likely to be telegraphing that....

Well maybe we could only recruit players with a certain name.

My Brother has, although what was discussed is to remain confidential.

But I can share two things. He thought Neeld was quite aloof and looked as though he didn't really want to be there, such was his body language when others were speaking, i.e. Neil Craig, Schwab, etc; and he got the overwhelming impression that Neeld didn't rate the list. It was mentioned on more than one occasion that "there's no mid-season draft". Which is why I expect major list changes at year's end.

Not quite sure what you didn't get. I was asking if I was being cynical by thinking that if this game wasn't being played in Darwin and it was at the MCG or AAMI, would Jetta have been picked?

I stand by my comment in another thread that Judd genuinely believes that the game will be played on his terms.

This is another example that he dictates what he will and will not accept to the tribunal.

Tom McDonald has to be the outstanding positive for the year. Really warming to the role and allowing Garland/Rivers to play elsewhere has given us a lot of flexibility.

Out of all the good things I see forming in our team, TMac gives me the most hope.

I reckon he'll make it.

Hopefully he makes it with us.
