Has to be you, I can't dance for shite!

Thought he was okay in the few games I saw him play but at 187cm not a key defender. Only frees up a rookie spot though, more main delistings to come

Why? Opinion or do you know something?
I was told quite emphatically that we won't be taking him.
-
You haven't got your hand on me.
Thats unfortunate. Not up for a tango then?
-
When will it be announced Demoneyes?
Wouldn't say but as per my mate at the GC he said within 3-4 weeks

Who really cares...about anything at the moment. Got me a lovely wife cooking me a steak at he mo on the bbq. Red in hand. Life is just fine!
-
Are we delisting anyone from Demonland ?
Yes you Nutbean, that avatar is making me hungry!
-
Have quite a few Saints mates and they have no idea who they are taking. Doesn't matter, either way McCartin won't be a Dee!

Careful lads.....
Lets not get Angus Angry !!!!!
You telling me a Whopper?

I thought we
would seeneeded 12 players de-listed..... am surprised as well.....I thought the 2 mentioned, Tappy, Terlich (pay out the contract!), Evans (ditto), Trenners (ditto), Grimes (ditto) and Spenser. That should do it!

It's one of the only guarantees in football. Melbourne will lose round 1, regardless of the opposition.
Not next year! I have tipped them for the past 10 years. I will sacrifice and do the right thing by the team!
sure thing, i'll meet you and your eldest at The Royal across the road from the G' on Punt Road. A quaint little establishment with excellent bar service.
Oh, be sure to bring some money to tip the "waitresses" too.
TSFKA you deviate you! The only real action will be at the G!
It is nice to see other Demonlanders are prepared to keep members 'abreast' of available meeting places for before the game. One hopes that that our players will do our 'strip' proud.
Nice but will be at the Cricketers as usual

Relax all. My mail today is its in the bag. Spoke with GB. There is a riddle for you!

My hope is Spencer.
He just tries so hard I want him to succeed.
Where there is life there is hope but its dwindling!
I think Nev might need to sustain his improvement for another year or two before we start using him as the model for other players to aspire to. One season does not make a career.
Nev turned it around amazingly this year. His blanketing of opposition smalls was first class. While I agree with your sentiment (as highlighted) I think you are being a bit harsh there!

WOW! Sure, highlights are highlights.
But I don't know he will fit in - not skinny enough, looks decisive, and can hit too many targets.
Changing of the guard. Its Roos in charge now!
There's a lot at steak deeoldfart.
Lets hope he's not the meat in the sandwich!

Stunned its only the 2 players?? Surely more to come as that only frees up 2 spots in the draft (2 & 3)!

We would be dreaming if ...
Nakia Cockatoo - 182 cms- likely pick 25-35 ... fast, solid, loves to run
Damian Cavka - 183cms, likely 25-35 - runs and runs, long kick, and gets it 25+ times. Classic ruck rover.
But in reality will aim for ...
Nathan Freeman - 185cms, 19yo,fast, strong, half back turned midfielder. Athletic and ready to go round 1.
Tom Wilkinson - 184cms, on the rise. Started as a HFF. Now a key running mid. Great TAC finals and outshown many others. A steal at 40.
James Rose - 186cms, big bodied SA mid. Played HFF but also rotates as mid. Competitive and skilled.
Matthew Hammelman - 198cm Giant from Qld. Goalkicking key forward. Athletic to play in ruck in future.
Jack Lonie -173cms, energetic small who has the skills and intensity for AFL. Boomer Harvey like but a left footer.
Josh Glenn - 19yo, skilled left foot, wingman. Needs a preseason in the gym but ready to go after year in SANFL
Brett Eddy -193cms- leading goalkicker in SANFL. 23yo, would play 3rd tall in AFL, like Gunston from hawks. Good mark and great shot.
Matt Goodyear -186cm, solid mid again. Accumulates and competes. Smart player who creates opportunities.
Oscar McDonald - 194cms, not sure we need another key back but brotherly connection means we will look at. Great 2nd half and has competitive heart.
Billy Evans - 187cms - half back / mid. Ollie Wines size. Smart. Natural leader. Good carnival but played team role rather than selfish impresser. More likely at pick 53.
Nathan Freeman again??? Could be a bit of confusion there next year!

Toby McLean or Touk Miller are my hopes. Think McLean’s a chance to be there, but Miller should be gone by then.
McLean, Miller......hooooooooo...got a feeling of dejavu there!

Probably should just close this thread. We wont be taking him!

Thems Black Caviar odds!
-
He would get that at another club.
That is 6% of the cap in 2014. If I was his agent, I would sign him up until the CBA has expired and the new TV deal gets signed.
Who knows what the cap will be in a few years time...
Yes, 6% of the cap. 16 players like that and no cap! What I'm hearing is around the high 500's, that is the point of difference at the moment as well as the term.

What a side, what a player, what a waste the last 8 years have been.
Yes but its nice to relive the memories. 20 years ago! Wow! We had great forwards but don't forget the backline! Prymke killed Kernahan that day

My mowing guy said to me today " Can you think of the worst Demon players and make a team from the last 40 years?" I thought about it and we haven't had heaps of highlights but plenty of lowlights.......... a trip down memory lane

Pay the man what he wants!
Not setting a good precedent there JR
