  1. Freo probably on of the biggest D scenes in W.A. Just saying.
  2. He will, if he goes, be playing under a different coach to the one that is currently at Freo at the moment, in my opinion. They had better start moving soon. I concur with Sue as well. "So much" to read at the moment. Richmond, I would think, are looking at what is going on at Freo with a reasonable amount of interest at the moment.
  3. You mean gorilla dressed up as a bloke.
  4. And the Media will be saying "that will shut them up for a while and stop saying truths about us all the time". But it will not shut me up you bunch of uni rejects,
  5. This opinion did not just fall from the sky as did neither i. It does precede the Essendon shambles and by the same, ran concurrently with it. All over the several years that I have participated on the forum we have been an unwarranted punch bag in a sea of punch-able bags whether it be about issues like team selection, coach selection or recruit; jumpers or lack of courage. there are many and I have no time for them (the media, disillusion be thy name). I wish I was still back in M sometimes amongst it. Heaven knows we tolerate their lies in lots of other general issues, but we don't nor shouldn't have to HERE even if we aren't a top team.
  6. Exactly, and as well the bloody media maggots denigrate anything Melbourne does because they hate our guts and that is totally reciprocated.
  7. In my younger days I'd be probably licking it so it didn't go to waste.
  8. It's all about the sniff of a game, knowing that you think you're better than the older, more experienced blokes already in the team but never quite getting the opportunity to prove it so you try and do it at a pleasant Sunday morning. Not a good result! A good coach will just keep giving you the scent.....
  9. I am having trouble putting four names together ESSENDON.....PLAYERS......GAME.....and KIDS The AFL has forgotten the last two obviously and we should not or else they will.
  10. Any chance Melksham in the box this year, or is that a no no. Would be extremely valuable against "those who should not be named" etc
  11. "Pre arranged strategy" could have been the wrong terminology perhaps "divine intervention" more appropriate
  12. To my way of thinking I reckon Weideman going to D's could have been a prearranged strategy in that this bloke has in one stroke alleviated a ton of pressure from himself, his family and the football public. The pressure on this bloke to perform would have been, behind the scenes, extraordinary, and I extend to everyone connected with this decision in football's extended family that he's probably now got a good chance of being a quite successful player in the AFL and with Melbourne.
  13. Why wouldn't there be a film available of today? Surely you would be able to tell if he was fair dinkim or not
  14. You would seriously look at a law suite to stop your kid going to Essendon in any draft.
  15. Jake Niall's excuse article for "nothing to do with flawed system"
  16. At the moment we have about 1/6th of Collingwood's team potentially playing for us. With Weideman it would become over a quarter. No such thing as the Demonobbles is there?
  17. Somebody know how Melksham went during any finals that he participated in, as this is extra experience we are picking up and as soon as next year hopefully it could be pretty important.
  18. What about "guilt on probability" and he plays a bottler and the heart flutters with "by gees he's a good get". Big conflict....
  19. I look at Melksham and I see a decisive disassociation from the past. Obviously the commitment and sincerity is there by the presumed length of contract and future coach's comments. There is a malevolent wind approaching Ess and people who make the effort to positively move on should not be overly recriminated against. Anything could come out of November in circumspection.
  20. Is there a connection between the competitive edge and inside knowledge that a club gains when we pick up a player from an opposing side. Take Crossy and Bernie last year and those game results against their old Clubs. Surely Melksham would be of distinct benefit as well.
  21. Gonna be a few more red than blue faces from this barrage of no confidence if this bloke is a good get (which I think he is)
  22. Could it be that Melksham leaves Essendon and somehow has a restraint of trade case "light on" Just who would be running the " Sport in Australia " show then?
  23. What it does show us is how much Hogan and his management are being bothered by constant speculation and harassment from riff raff. Blokes like Ralph and Russell are not ingenuous enough to drum up their own news so they get somebody to read Demonland because they can't read. They are only "copyboys" in the jargon. They also get very peeved if their Clubs are mentioned in the same sentences as ASADA, WADA, falling asleep on the ground and running into the boundary fence on purpose, you get it....
