I begrudgingly sat on the computer yesterday afternoon to get my husband into the ballot should the Pies get through this weekend. I was very envious as I wish it was me getting tickets for the Dees 😞 I can’t stand the thought of Brisbane going all the way and seeing Zorko hold up the cup would be unbearable. I can’t stand Geelong. They are deluded if they think they are everyone’s second favourite team. Collingwood ~ just no ( Howe, Ginnivan and Cox) so I guess I am hoping the Swans get it done.

Thanks guys. As the lone Demon supporter in my household and now living away from Melbourne I enjoy the insights, humour and the bantering on DL. I am married to a Pies supporter and he is somewhat envious (even though he will not admit it) as there is nothing like this for Pies fans who want information and intelligent conversation. Listening to the podcast makes my weekly drives into the city much more bearable. Keep up the good work and I will be making another donation first thing tomorrow. Go Dees.

I also had a soft spot for Dean as well. I cannot remember which interstate game it was (maybe Gold Coast) but he had injured his shoulder and obviously knew it was a season ending injury. The cameras showed him in the rooms and he was absolutely shattered. I can still remember the look on his face. My heart broke for him that day. I wish him well.

My husband is a medical specialist and a life long Collingwood supporter. I am a third generation demon supporter and my family all despise Collingwood. I have to hand it to my husband, he supports the Dees in every other match, comes to the footy with me and accepts the Dees membership that I give him every Christmas. I on the other hand show no such grace and if he handed me a pie’s membership, I would flush it down the toilet. I have been to two GF with him and supported Geelong and WCE. He is obviously a better person than me. His fear has always been a Dees vs Pies GF ( for obvious reasons). There are some good Pies supporters out there. ( But I still loathe them)

I saw him at the supermarket last week and was very tempted to ram my trolley into the back of him. I’m not a violent person but he irritates the hell out of me.

Went to bed shattered, woke up feeling even worse. Tore my heart out watching us lose to the Pies last night.😓
