  1. Yeah, it was great to see Watts looking so poised at times and showing us some great skills. Certainly thinking we need to forget about him becoming some monster CHF like a Cloke or Brown and that maybe he'll end up being more like a Goddard-type with his skills and reading-the-play abilities. We've now got Clark to be the monster CHF. In 2013 anyway.
  2. Most definitely Ablett. In awe of his ability to win the ball and accelerate out of trouble. Gut runs as well. Pendlebury also makes things look very easy while agree with someone above and enjoy the way Hodge goes about it.
  3. I think we need to adjust our expectations of Jack. He's certainly not a mongrel-hardball get-contested mark type at the moment but that's OK. The role he played on the weekend suits him as he's got excellent skills and reads the play better than most. Reckon that should be his position for the next year or two until he can beef up a bit more and get some more experience. You knows, maybe he can turn into a Jobe Watson or Josh Kennedy type one day being tallish midfielders. He's certainly a better player at age 20 than they were.
  4. Footy journalism is scraping the bottom of the barrel at the moment. Creates controversy all in the name of justifying its own existence. As someone else mentioned, they're like radio shock jocks trying to stir things up just to 'fill' their media space. Sorry to self-promote, but the below link is to a blog post I wrote just last night on this very topic. http://nah-seriously.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/footy-fourth-estate.html
