Who would have thought a year ago that Dunn, Peddo, Jetta and Mckenzie would be featuring in our best. Awesome turnaround Mr Roos
And in a winning side

He earns the right not to be called a spud for the next 2 seasons by Demonland posters.
Or until his next bad game whichever comes first .

Unlike a lot of the people on here. I loved the way the game was played yesterday. Hard, tough football where most kicks had to be earned. I hate the basketball end to end high scoring games. Give me a hard contest every day.
Unfortunately we couldn't quite match it with Collingwood. Next year if our improvement continues we will win these games.
Also the people on here who believe Collingwood were coasting, should listen to Beams after game comment that this was one the hardest game he had played in all year

Wine is made from grapes, I class this as a fruit drink. Fruit is good for you.

Not the same people. People have differing views - funny, that.
Sorry Nasher wasn't suggesting that it was the same people. Just how entertaining Demonland can be, we'll worth the subscription fees. Hours of fun.

Demonland never ceases to amaze me. Last year people were complaining that the reviews of VFL players was too soft, this year the reviews are too critical. Great entertainment though.

obviously 'the master' knows not what he is talking about, talks absolute shyte
I find he is a very good debator.

If Frawley is to go back on his return he will need to improve dramatically on his games there early in the season.
On his early season form, where he wouldn't chase and gave half hearted efforts, I would prefer the current back line.
The back line improved tremendously as soon as he was sent forward.

This is indeed the case. It could make things very interesting could it not?
I don't suppose anyone would like the notion of resting a few of our guns so they'll be fresh and ready for Collingwood the week after? I mention this for two reasons. One the fact that we are almost certain to be thrashed anyway, and two the fact that teams who play in the NT almost always run out of steam in their next game due to the draining conditions up there. It could make all the difference against the Pies to have a few fresh mids running around off a two week break.
The game is in Alice Springs not Darwin.
The average June temperatures are around 20 degrees.
Can get up higher on hot days obviously.
Also the heat is a dry heat not humid like in Darwin.
Anyway the conditions should not be that draining.

Maybe Frawley will have to work his way back in through Casey. ( :

Pretty shameful at the start of Game Day when they ran through the results for the games this weekend.
Cheering for every game until they read out the Melbourne/Tigers result which was booed.
They just made the list.
Love this, the more other teams supporters boo us the happier I will be.
I want the Demons to be hated more than Collingwood.
It will mean we are successful, supporters don't boo losers.

I was a major fan of Watts up until earlier this season.
I had always had him my favourite players since joining Demonland.
Earlier this season I gave up on him as a lost cause and wanted him dropped.
I've decided in future to trust in Paul Roos to make the decisions, surprisingly he seems to know more than me.

8 more scoring shots, 9 more inside50s.. we had 4 goals go bouncing through.. we got lucky
Let me get this clear, last week you posted that we didn't deserve to win even though we had more inside 50s and the Bulldogs bounced through lucky goals and got gifted goals.
And this week you think we didn't deserve to win because Ricmond had more inside 50s and the football happened to bounce in our favour a couple of times.

As I said great win, its not about pot shots, its about analysing the game, Don't fool yourself we had some poor players today!
I am enjoying the win but in the scheme of things bigger pictures form. Its all about improving your list and becoming competitive for longer! We still have some gaps to be brutally honest, but enjoying the win , no doubt!
Why do you think I was aiming my post at you?
Are you pushing an agenda?

Just have to love Demonland even after a great win we have certain posters trying to push their agendas rather than enjoy the win.
They seem to be much happier when we lose and can take pot shots at specific players.

Bernie Vince; how did the Crows let him go.
Dom Tyson; how did the giants let him go.
Chris Dawes; how did the Pies let him go.
BTW how safe is Dunne's marking in the back line; wtf happened to the old jumper puncher.
Cross how did theBulldogs let him go?

He was bloody good, went hard and looked like he belonged.
Kicked an important goal too
Was only subbed for conditioning reasons youd think, since he was playing well
Thanks hh was hoping he could bring the same intensity to AFL, really liked his work at Casey.
-
How was Pigdog's first outing?
Looked good at VFL level, was wondering if he was up to AFL level before being subbed.
-
P*ssed off. Couldn't get to the game today.
GO DEMONS.
Looking forward to all the reports for those lucky enough to attend.

You're right! Thanks BB. I try to keep off the site when the lunatics are online.
You must want the whole site to yourself if that is the case.

I wouldn't take much notice they have Michie on 2 weeks. I believe he played on the weekend

When was the last time we heard the phrase" he was unlucky to be dropped" about a Melbourne team.

I reckon the Bulldogs should be thanking us for the win
Hard to come up 6 days after playing the Demons now
