I came to Melbourne in early 1965 from England. On the boat over I experienced my first game of Australian Rules football with a film about the 1964 premiership winning team Melbourne. I am not a great fan o f ANB but Cherry-picking stats from a year in which a team came near to last as against the premiers is a bit disingenuous Try comparing their 2018 stats or their career stats which you can find from the site you have sourced. You maybe surprised.

He still needs to improve his contested ball and tackling. Roos will have him working on this side of his game, he is a young player, plenty of time for him to improve at Casey. There was only 1 vacancy in the firsts and Jetta had earned that spot with his performances over many weeks. Suddenly we are building a culture where players aren't gifted easy games in the firsts, they have to earn them over and over again at Casey.
