PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Out: May, Tholstrup, Lindsay (rest), Sharp In: Petty, Sparrow, Billings, Laurie/spargo Petty to replace May in the backline. Don't think Adams is quite ready yet. For the third week I'll say that Tholstrup needs to be played at Casey. Second week recently where he's been subbed early in the third after having not much impact. Give him the rest of the year at Casey in the guts. Sparrow is clearly seen as best 22 by the footy department and will come in fitness pending his concussion. Billings has been in hot form at Casey and if we're serious about winning games then he plays over Sharp. Laurie and Spargo both played well at Casey. Laurie's cards seemed to have been stamped so we'll probably see Spargo return. Johnson for Jefferson no doubt to be discusses at match committee but hope Jefferson gets another crack at it.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Haynes officially sanctioned for his trip on Jefferson in the 4th quarter. No free kick paid to Jefferson who would have been 35 metres out on a 45ish degree angle. The scores were 72 to 70 with 4 minutes to play at the time.

CASEY: Rd 17 vs Carlton VFL
Without wanting to sound too much like a wet blanket but its hard to read a lot into the performance given the weakness of the opposition. Our key forwards in particular weren't facing strong opposition and often had massive size and weight differentials in our favour.

Billings, Johnson and Laurie the best of the dees to my eyes with Culley going ok as well. Enjoyed the two run down tackles from Petty.

Don't mind this. We certainly need some key position depth with Fullarton, Hore, McDonald and May all likely gone within 1-2yrs.

May suffered concussion late and will miss regardless of a possible suspension.

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
I don't get what we're doing with our younger players. We sub tholstrup only 5 minutes into the 3rd and then his replacement in Lindsay spends the last 10minutes of the game on the bench. Are we playing the kids or not?

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Goody needs to raise the lack of frees for Oliver. Constantly held and not rewarded for his tackles.

Tholstrup sub already?

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs Carlton
All psychological with Jeff. He gets to the right spots and has had what, 7 shots at goal in the last game and a half. Needs to start taking his chances obviously but I'm less concerned about him now than I was 4 months ago. Edit: yes he is having a mare of a first half.

Guess we're going to make Moir look like a superstar tonight

Jefferson again alone inside 50 but not seen by trac and long ugly kick to the pocket. Not sure who that 50 was paid against, think they got that one wrong. Turner needs to clean up his short lateral kicks. Langford is a jet. So lucky he is ours.

Love Turner but please stop kicking it sideways to 50/50 contests.

Photos could be misleading. Laurie and Brown in both white and blue jumpers. Petracca and Gawn also in white in one of the photos.

I can't see how that could possibly change the charge but strangers things have happened I guess.

What's below careless? Because it's not like they could argue against severe impact or high contact.

Forward line fixed (for the time being)

PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Going to be in an interesting week at selection. May, Petty and Howes could all come in while Sparrow is the only definite out. Billings the other one at Casey to put his hand up for selection. Tholstrup, Lindsay, Windsor and Lever the most at risk of being dropped based off today's performance. Edit: Sharp played OK as well and while I'm not his biggest fan I could easily see the selection committee putting him back into the squad.
