Time to go Goody?
I'd like to see the same list management savviness that got us to 2021 and if we head into 2025 relying on the same players it's over. But heck, ask a saints supporter if they would take one premiership in their lifetime? Two would have just shown it wasn't a flash in the pan

The Premiership Window Closing?
My take is we did everything right to build a list capable of winning flags - great trades, great drafting. But the after the flag because the flag bought a release of pressure we made some list management mistakes and had some bad luck and suddenly we have May and Gawn the wrong side of thirty and Viney, Clarie and Trac getting on as well. We lost the talent of Jackson, Brayshaw, lost depth in Harmes and Jordan and we brought in players that were never going to be more than depth in recent times. The window is over unless there are dramatic changes in trade period. We are relying on veterans.

The Premiership Window Closing?
Nice trolling but we were as dominant via nearly every stat as the Bombers were in 2000 and had to do it while living in COVID bubbles away from home. I'd argue that no premiership in the last ten years was as deserved on in season form and performance. The real argument is why we were not able to capitalise on that list more than once.

Time to go Goody?
My take is we give him another year and this trade period is paramount. He got us a premiership but you could argue blind Freddy could have coached that list to a premiership. But we need to replace the talent of Brayshaw, Jackson and shoukd have kept Grundy for mine.

I actually had to triple check the date of this post.

Tom Fullarton - back up ruck?
Langdon says hi. But agree.

Tom Fullarton - back up ruck?
Sure but we could have rookied a VFL ruck and had a better outcome.

Trade Targets
English to the dees would be a win for mine. Probably more exciting than some of the other prospects. High profile trades like Langdon, et al added real quality to our list. Mor recent trade acquisitions seem to be bargain basement raids.

Tom Fullarton - back up ruck?
Sorry but if the answer is Fullarton, Billings and Schache then the wrong question is being asked. Hunter probably in similar category.

I dream of us pulling a RIchmond style Caddy and Prestia but I doubt there is the talent available.

Most insane thing Ive heard in a while. JVR has shown he can get there. Max reminds me of Weids.

Gerard Whateley on Petracca incident
In some weird way, somehow MFC are the real villains of an injury one of our players sustained due to someone else's knee. The story isnt the knee being lifted when attempting to spoil for no obvious reason (or maybe...), or that in the last two games against Collingwood one of our players has sustained catastrophic injuries, the story is that somehow MFC are at fault for not overruling a player's urge to go back on the ground. That being said most of these media outrages are just tame distractions from a sychophantic brigade that would be too scared to say anything controversial.

Trade Rumours 2023
Couple of things mentioned on trade radio this am on the commute: Concerns that with the deal to Naughton and then English that they might not be able to keep ammara Ugle-Hagan. Beast Mode Angry Phil Read version 2 - Rhys Matheison may also be looking for new opportunities. I know he can attack people but is he fast? kick?
