The Eagles D has been immense KC need to try something different to get on the scoreboard

That last offside was a gift from the KC defensive linesman. Inexcusable Could be very costly if the Eagles get a score on this drive

Incidental contact calls can ruin a game. Just let the players play The Tush Push! TD to the Eagles

2 early soft ref calls that cancel each other out? Yep, spot on

@DemonDave @layzie Tips, gentlemen! So what are we all doing re watching the SB? I've been going to the same SB get-together for over 20 years now (on and off when work permits) And my old cricket club has organised a SB function for over 10 years

If someone gave me $1k to bet on the SB then I'd probably back the Eagles ... but if it was my own money, I would have to back the Chiefs (in a close one) KC 1-6

Replete with the full Rams coaching gear with playbook/clipboard in hand. It's quite possible! After a time, Gorg would be giving free advice to Stafford and McVay

Jeez how good is Harvey Langford looking!
The role referenced fits in with defence-first mantra Last year the average score against us was 78 points where as in the 2021 premiership year it was 65 points. And a similar number in 2022 & 2023?

Jeez how good is Harvey Langford looking!
Yes, Langford just needs to be developed as he has a lot to learn. But a lot of that will be self-development because as you said, he looks to be a plug-in-and-play type Exciting times with Langford & Lindsay being added to the list

When we were are at our best, we often had Brayshaw playing as a defensive midfielder (as well as an attacking mid when it suited) Not sure that Petracca, Oliver or Viney can play that role as marking strength and the ability to spoil was part of Gus' role. Maybe Rivers? Not advocating Langford at half back or on a wing (Gus also played those roles at other times), but more so at the defensive side of the midfield sweeping from side to side We need some versatility in the midfield and that's maybe why we drafted Langford in the first place Of course, we could also play Langford as a forward mid or a HHF if augers well. Right now, Langford has the base attributes so we'll soon see where it all goes from here

Langford has enormous potential and he may also be able to play that Gus role that we've missed Part defensive midfielder or filling that role between half back and the midfield with defensive spoils and intercept marks With his height and physical presence, he could play any number of roles that a midfielder could fill The above may take a while to come to fruition, of course. First of all, he needs to find his feet!

Providing that Barcley has his usual output, that will keep the Eagles in the match. If he is at his best then the Eagles can win. If KC curtail him, then the Chiefs should win KC's offense nearly always has a number of big moments and one of their strengths is being able to achieve 1st downs after a couple of plays Reid was quoted as saying that it will come down to which team makes the least mistakes but it's those big offensive moments that gains big yards that also makes the difference And both teams can gain big yards from any particular play All logic says KC win again but because the margin looks to be on the small side, I reckon it's a toss-up (a guess)

... along with 17 consecutive 1 score victories! There has to be an element of luck to all those victories as just one extra TD to the opposition means victory to the opposition

Tennis Anyone?
Sorry about the late reply but that's how these other threads work sometimes, GtB! Did a bit of research and arrived at these figures for day passes for 2025 (converted to Aussie dollars) Wimbledon $59 French Open $65 Australian Open $59 US Open $215 !!! I was shocked at the U.S amount but thought Wimbledon would be a lot more expensive As for the food and drinks pricing, I'd imagine the prices would all be quite expensive at all the venues So we come out of it quite well, all things considered (especially with the huge improvements to Melbourne Park in terms of accessibility, creature comforts and freedom of movement) Tickets for the QF's, SF's & Finals would all be very expensive but we are seeing the best in the world at play

Tennis Anyone?
WADA has decided to appeal to CAS re the ITIA's decision to clear Yannik Sinner's failed drug test (Steroids) Happening in a few months just prior to the French Open Most will be familiar with WADA & CAS, but the ITIA is a Tennis organisation/committee set up by the ATP, WTA & the Grand Slam tournaments to safeguard the integrity of tennis Sinner could face a ban ranging from 1 month and up to 2 years if found guilty The Sinner original defence surrounded a cream applied to a cut which contained the anabolic steroid However, he did fail a drug test on 2 separate occasions with the reading being less than a billionth of a gram.

Neither Super Bowl team is superior to the other ... it's a deadset pickem' match-up But on the day is often a different story and that's why we sometimes see blow-outs with evenly matched teams For instance, today we saw the Eagles demolish Washington but they are not a 30 point better team. 4 major errors vs none and the Eagles took advantage Where as in the Bills/Chiefs game the fumbles were all recovered except the one Mahomes fumble It's those big moments that matter the most and the Chiefs are very good in the big moments That KC 41 yard punt return to Remigio which led to a field goal was one such big moments. As was the dropped catch by Kincaid for Buffalo late in the game
