No. The Essendon supporters need to know that Melbourne football teams will no longer be pushed around. Trac did the right thing to tell the opposition fans to get stuffed.

I am sick of hearing the commentators fawn over Essendon. The booing of the Essendon fans is pathetic.

We got smashed out the middle. We really need Viney back. With him in today I think we would have won!

If Ratten does not get the chop after being so far ahead in a game and still managing to coach his team to a loss, then I will be gobsmacked!

I would bring him back cherry ripe for the Port Adelaide match. To me that is a big danger game. If we beat them, West Coast and Geelong at GMHBA, then I think that we will win the Premiership.

If you look at Geelong, Port, Bulldogs and Sydney. They all have a tough draw in the next few weeks. If we can win the next 2 then we could open up at least a 2 match gap at the top!

Melksham is a Finals player. I think he will peak at the right time! Weideman may do the same!

I say rotate Brown, Brown and Weid. Make them earn their spot!

Not too keen on Dogs supporters. The first time I took my son was to Dogs vs Demons match. We were near our Cheer Squad and some Dogs supporters started to become difficult. There were words exchanged and a Dogs supporter threw a drink all over a Demons supporter. I stepped in and asked him to leave because there were kids watching and it was a Demons supporters area. He jumped over my friend and king hit the Demons supporter in the head. We then restrained him until the useless security at Marvel arrived.

No. Not keen on Dogs supporters generally.

I put most of it down to Choco. I think that he has got inside the heads of our players. Listen to them talk about his practices and you will see what I mean. He gives out weekly awards, regularly points things out to players and educates them and he is very encouraging.

Don’t know if you guys remember but a Chelsea Roffey goal line decision cost us a top 4 position and we finished fifth. It was around 2005. Guess who the match was against? Adelaide. We ended up getting a draw instead of a win, because she gave a point for a goal. It had cleared the line. The extra 2 points would have seen us finish fourth. I think we ended up at Fremantle away, in the semi finals, which we lost!

At least Treloar is out for next week. That is a big loss for the Dogs! Ben Brown has to come back. Mitch Brown to come in too. Maybe Nathan Jones too or Salem in preference if he is available. Drop Petty, Weideman, and Frisch. I would give Melksham another go. I believe he has a big ego and will play well on the big stage of Friday night Footy. I also think Jetta’s experience will be invaluable against the Dogs. Jordan deserves another go. He has physicality and I would back him to rise to the challenge.

I have met Brian Taylor multiple times and my impression of him at close quarters is that he is an arrogant narcissist!

He also has a chip on his shoulder about the Demons because he is so uncultured and boorish, unlike many of our fraternity.

Who cares! I don’t really see Richmond figuring much in September this year. I think Port, Melbourne, Bulldogs, Swans and Brisbane May have gone past them!

It would appear that the MCC is booked out tonight so is it going to be a big crowd?

Weideman had a pretty serious off season injury. Why would they rush him into the senior side? He might be happier to play from about round 12 and peak in the finals.

Just scrap the stupid Trubunal. Let the players sort it out between themselves. It is a contact sport and should be treated accordingly. It is not soccer!

I feel sorry for opposition supporters when they are humble and true fans. When you see their disappointed faces leaving the ground, it reminds me of how I have felt too often! But not when they are arrogant and aggressive. Those are not the true supporters!

Tigers supporters soon pull their heads in once you stand up to them! They are flat track bullies!

Melksham traditionally plays well against Hawthorn. Please note! He did when he was an Essendon player too.
