  1. So long as he/she/they/them address the messianic complex of 'Landers for six months, they will have satisfactory fulfilled a key KPI.
  2. That train left the station 15 years ago.
  3. You'd be spew'in about Tommy Mac a week ago then.
  4. An Exec summary would mean that the gist of the judgement can be read and understood in 7.5 minutes. Can you imagine the impact on that for next year's holiday in Europe and the lease payments on the new Bentley?
  5. Nomination for post of the month.
  6. this is actually really disturbing.
  7. Goody’s game plan—obviously. Kate—for sneezing near a training session. The re-emergence of the Norm Smith curse—because we just can’t resist. The umpires—standard procedure, really. Maynard—because even if he’s not involved, why not?
  8. Greg Stafford’s departure from Melbourne is one of those "it is what it is" moments. Footy is a results-driven industry, and going forward, the Dees will need to adapt in the space. Stafford’s been in the system long enough to know how it works, but now it’s up to the boys to step up, find that fresh voice, while staying true to our brand.
  9. Port Adelaide Chasing Kozzy Again The best backmen in the game can't catch him - what chance a lumbering edifice?
  10. Can't take it seriously at all. It's ridiculous that Peddo doesn't get a guernsey.
  11. I've renewed my interest in Butters Wellsy. My cardiologist is none to happy.
  12. Demonland is a wild pastiche of Melrose Place, Downtown Abbey and I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here. Your wife couldn't make half this chite up @Monbon.
  13. Did you see Buckley's face when he started c**ping on about Tassie?
  14. There have been some great speeches over the journey. “The Sermon on the Mount” by Jesus Christ (c. 30 AD), “The Citizen of the World Speech” by Socrates (399 BC), “The Quit India Speech” by Mahatma Gandhi (1942) are no doubt in the top 10. Jack Dyer, when asked for a comment about Carlton great Bob Chitty, who had died a few days earlier, Jack replied: “Yeah, bit of bad luck for Bob . . .”. This easily gets a nod in my top 10 (squeezed between Soc and Gandhi). Gary's squeezes into the top 10 (although I haven't listened to it - but judging from Demonland, it clear is superior to carp like “I Have a Dream” by Martin Luther King Jr. (1963) and “We Shall Fight on the Beaches” by Winston Churchill (1940). John Kennedy's "Don't think, do" ranks at 1,967, 456, 835 on my personal list.
  15. Brilliant @Fanatique Demon. Thank you.
  16. Thank you @WalkingCivilWar. A wonderful thread. Just what I needed tonight.
  17. I recon Jess is in the driver's seat down there on the Peninsular. She would have been working away on it with Perty in the background. Raising children is costly and we need at least another four children to materialise from this relationship.
  18. It's actually bigger than this I think @Deevout. I'm calling it now. Grave abuse of human rights.
  19. I pray that you actually have a dog @Monbon.
  20. I really need a cuddle and reassurance myself @WalkingCivilWar. It's been a hell of a season. (Clarrie is the embodiment of the Jungian innocence archetype.)
  21. Have we got an AA ruckman we can trade to sydney for say, a third rounder?
  22. they already are dam good. will get 500 games at least out of cheezel and warlord.
  23. I'm surprised you can understand anything Dermie says @Deefensive Language.
