  1. Of the WA boys, really like Swan Districts boy Tylah Williams, great lateral movement, clean at ground level and good foot skills, fwd craft. west Coast NGA but they have him Wes Walley, Koby Evans as NGA and Charlie Banfield as FS. Williams will go late second round or 3rd round I think.
  2. 6.Viney 5.Gawn 4.Rivers 3.Fritsch 2.Bowey 1.Oliver Shout out to Windsor, Trac, Salem, ChandlerPetty and Kossie
  3. Same here, except for the last line always care. Coaching though well past my use by date as a player. Hoping to see some dare with structure throughout when I watch the replay. Don’t want to see any individual selfishness if we’re in total control need to see the team first discipline. Make no mistake they will come out fired up young group on a trip away. Go dees
  4. Laurie should be played in the VFL as half back or small high half forward conduit connector IMO he’s not going to make it at AFL level on ball but you need to try everything before delisting him. He has good disposal by foot
  5. Let’s wait and see how it transpires, if he’s fit to play he plays. Just deal with the pain There’s no such thing as a dead rubber, certainly not on Demonland
  6. You may think it’s ridiculous but it’s probably why we have a disconnect with our players and lacking in leadership. It’s not a crystal ball it would have shown the footy world they as individuals had absolute buy in and wanted to build a legacy. I’m not asking them to take massive unders or even take them but let’s not complain about them copping criticism. Both are probably victims of things beyond their control Trac the kidney/spleen injury and Clarry with his mental health. It’s not just on field, Clarry caused a big disconnect with his offield behaviour through 2023 and into 2024, which still runs today in the playing group I fully understand he has personal issues that impact him and may be the reason he is not at the required fitness level he needs to be. Nobody mentioned $500k for a player, but if we’re paying $1 to $1.2 million give me a second round pick and we’ll pay $3-4 00k to him and have a further $8-900k for a mid who is prepared to get the best out of themselves in terms of preparation and every week is prepared to run both ways.
  7. No they are crying because they are performing at $700k level and being paid a lot more. The really good clubs set a culture where players want to stay and leaders take unders to set that culture. This enables you to spread the load and have more top level players Pendlebury, Selwood, Hodge all did it. Sydney used to under Roos but I think started to lose the blood’s culture once they signed Buddy. Gawn is probably the only one we have with this mindset. If you want to take the big money you take the expectation and criticism that comes with it
  8. I came looking for any intelligent conversation about the upcoming game, but as you say the negativity is astounding. Yeah we’re not were we need to be, but FFS I’ve attended 3 work colleagues funerals in 5 weeks, people need to get some perspective
  9. Ruben Gibney can play, Elijah Hewitt can play, Harry Edwards will be a decent defender, Jobe Shanahan is going to be a player, but a lot of their kids being asked to shoulder a massive amount of responsibility. New list manager has a massive task ahead
  10. The 9 o’clock tap to Clarrie was mind boggling, hard hands above his head went straight through him and straight delivery inside 50 toget them within 5 points. We played with dare for 3/4 but once they got within 4 goals that was the time to kill 3 mins with repeated stoppages, slow play. That’s on the coaches and the players. You knew the Saints had to run and gun and it needed to be discussed at 3/4 time
  11. West Coast are young and as such have embraced the get away from town and be a tight knit group scenario a little this season. This has ambushed written all over it After yesterday’s 4th quarter I’m not sure Gawn and co have the bottle. As for the coaches whatever they say to the players won’t get through the disconnect is there
  12. Bruise free footy prove it, run and gun forward handball game by us followed by Saints trying to slow game down by possession game in 2nd meaning 0 contested stats. 4th quarter capitulation due to absolute brain fades by senior players of things which should be ingrained (that’s poor coaching), failure to slow oppo momentum with repeated stoppages playing possession football after turnover. I stand by my opinion none of your points proved correct in the outcome, but I can guarantee you felt satisfied that you were right because we lost.
  13. Absolutely terrible, how can you have leaders today when the opposition is running in waves make so many dumb decisions Gawn punching cbds fwd against a team whose hb’s are running towards the contest with nothing to lose. Basic 101 stuff keep it in close repeat stoppage. Continuing fast ball movement instead of slowing it down maintaining possession it would have only taken 2 minutes when we were 24 points up to kill tha game That should be ingrained in the players to identify that
  14. It’s officially time IMO, I have waited but seen today his tenure is up. The lack of ability in the players to identify St Kilda we’re playing on at all costs and going run and gun, is a coaching debacle. Slow the game down ffs, players playing on and Max punching taps. Fed with Saints running hard off half back was just dub. Yes a lot of that is o the players but well drilled players don’t do that. Thank you very much for your time,, the flag, the memories etc but the time has come for a new voice
  15. Has been good needs to play like this more often
  16. WTAF I’ve said it a hundred times, there are posters who just want to be miserable. Dee’s are taking the game on being brave with their ball movement but this is what you chose to post. If you’re at the game leave
  17. Can only think Petty is in to prevent Wilkie going to JVR, rare opportunity this year to watch without delay Show some dare ad hold NWM to account Go dees
  18. I believe they want to appear to be doing their best and absolve some legal responsibility
  19. Actually no, the club reviewed the transcripts and by-laws of grounds to appeal the decision and weighed up the balance of probabilities of a successful appeal. It’s got nothing to do with balls The Maynard comparison being referred to on here is mute, the reason it’s 0 or 3 weeks is because of the Maynard incident. It’s why Curtis got 3 when 1 if any was more appropriate and it’s why the AFL will give the MRO power/wriggle next year to give 1 week by changing the matrix. May deserves 0 weeks IMO , unfortunately the AFL has to be seen to be doing everything in its power to reduce head injuries. If May rightfully gets cleared the AFL will say they did their best and issued a penalty, which was lost in a point of law.
  20. Despite rinse and repeat posts/opportunities to kick everything off field the club is appealing. You don’t have to like the current status on and off field (I know I don’t), but sometimes it’s better to wait and see what transpires.
  21. Why, I know Luker won’t back down and will give as good as he gets. Pies boys would learn quickly he won’t be intimidated
  22. We can vent without stooping that low. There’s no excuse for that
  23. Whatever ever the outcome none of us are happy but that’s actually a really disgraceful comment in the last sentence. Wishing injury on a player is bad enough but any adult knows the implications of a snapped spine. FFS, we’re better than that.
  24. A star from his very first game at the club, 24 and 25 don’t define him. He will always be remembered for the above achievements and of course BANG!BANG!BANG! Congratulations Claz
