  1. Agree but with no Casey game this week and Matthews having had minimal impact in the VFL game last Saturday, Latrelle must get another game this week. He may well need some time in the two’s this season but not when there is no Casey game to play in and also only when someone else has the form on the board with Casey to replace him.
  2. Makes no sense to drop Latrelle this week. The club have him on a steep learning curve and want him to adapt and develop his game asap. Won’t do that sitting up in the stands watching this week while Casey has a bye. Great opportunity to see what he has learnt over the past two weeks and work on his deficiencies, especially back at the wide expanses of the G against a team not known for it’s speed or defensive abilities. Yes he had no influence this week but against quality opposition on a day we were soundly beaten in most facets of the game in hostile territory. Not a great day for any of our forwards. Latrelle must play this week.
  3. Geez Jagga’s disposals have mostly been horrible.
  4. No stressing everyone. I’m sure the future third round pick we received will be a ripper.
  5. Do we really need to do this?
  6. Can’t stand this guy. Prefer we don’t even give his article any oxygen at all. All about the “clicks”.
  7. Yes agree. North were witches hats today. Zero defensive pressure around the ground. Zero run. Disappointing really. Hope Richmond really tighten the screws on us next week and force us into uncomfortable situations to see how we handle them. They will play with flair and run at the very least I’d imagine which will test our ability to curb their offensive run. Much better test. Today was a great confidence booster for the guys which hopefully also helps instil belief in the game plan.
  8. Yes agree. Looked like he was trying too hard sometimes instead of just letting it happen naturally. Will be better for the run. After a slow start with a couple of turnovers, thought Rivers ended up being one of WA’s better players.
  9. Started slowly but new ruck rules possibly contributed to that. Settled into the game after that and by the end was winning hit outs and having an impact. One aspect of his game I’d like to see him get rid of is the habit he has of worrying too much about getting frees with the umpires and also going to ground a bit easily on occasions. The run will do him good. Provided he stays injury free, will be in for the usual great season.
  10. Geez I really hate this Country Road rubbish
  11. Anyone know if Toby Sinnema played today?
  12. Turnover city at present but love that we are trying to move the ball quickly and still finding their feet with the new game plan.
  13. Wow Windsor in full flight is a thing of beauty.
  14. And….. that is all it seems. Aaahhhhhh!!!
  15. Great question. I was wondering the same thing. Loved the whole concept of the program specifically designed for first to fourth year players (I think it was).
  16. Hoping AMW has a big year and a change of luck. Would be great for the backline if he can have a break out year.
  17. OMG that’s horrendous.
  18. Had been thinking the same thing. Would be good to have an update from him before Xmas. Still hopeful it will be done and on the site shortly as great opportunity to connect with members and provide some first impressions on the group and focus after the break. Fingers crossed.
  19. Completely agree. Season has just been completed so no immediate urgency. May be a difficult few weeks to interview candidates during the Xmas silly season. Much prefer them right now to take their time, get their list of preferred candidates together and then conduct a thorough process and get the right person. Don’t want blow by blow ongoing updates.
  20. Really disappointed. I thought she gave us something when she played and had the attributes to develop really well. Speed, good skills, good tackler and won most one on one battles for the ground ball that I saw. Have a bad feeling on this one that it may come back to bite us big time. Hope I’m wrong. Must have been told she would be delisted and to find another home.
  21. Have to assume they have an agreement in place with another club to now on-trade picks to move up the pointy end of the draft. Geez lets hope so.
  22. Thanks for the offer but think I’ll pass.
  23. As good as gone sadly. Loved watching Edo too. Would be a big loss.
  24. Very good with ground balls too. Clean below his knees. New ruck rule will suit him to a tee. Won’t be many able to match his jump, if any. Future is bright I believe. Confident he will be developed the right way too and not rushed. Max a huge bonus. Good luck and welcome Kalani.
  25. Club need to wrap their arms around our uncontracted players (and contracted for that matter) asap as bet your bottom dollar if Mick ends up at the Cats as widely tipped, he will be trying to bring some players with him. Could set us back years if this happens.
