Previous players downfalls
Unfortunately, many of the players listed in the OP were indeed subject to some of the most retarded development practices of recent times. A few of them however were just plain shitty draft picks.

The 2019 fixture
Just checked and you’re right. Lets hope that’s a request from the club.

When we beat Geelong, I will...
Geez... this was pre bypass road times. Brings back memories of some of the off the chain [censored] I used to get up to. ?

When we beat Geelong, I will...
Ha! I remember stopping at the Imperial 25 years ago for some rehydration during the long journey along the Princes Highway. Do they still have scantily dressed ladies pulling beers or has that gone the way of other political correctness madness?

The 2019 fixture
We play Anzac eve on a Wednesday night. I hope we get a Thursday nighter the round before.

Neville Jetta Re-Signs until 2021
Has been badly battered and bruised this year but gets up week after week. His durability is as much as a highlight as his form is. Saty must be frothing.

Run home to Finals - 2018
Article on the AFL site has us finishing in eighth spot - although they don't really show any process of how it happens. Ladder predictor: 26 games that will shape the eight I have this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that round 23 will be identical for us just like last year. A win this weekend is incredibly important.

It'll be hard to resist..

When we beat Geelong, I will...
The last time I created a thread like this it was last year and we went on to smash the Crows in Adelaide. Will it work a second time? Let's cross everything and hope so.. Anyway, when we beat Geelong, I will... be wondering why I didn't tip us.

Will 12 be enough
The narrative is that it's a game of small margins so anything's possible.

How desperate are North Melbourne....
Why would you wanna recruit a bloke from interstate who's already left one club because he was homesick? McClure talking drivel.

Pace Or Grunt
I remember when the kid first came to the club and many of us labeled him a Rolls Royce and the second coming of Judd. Upon review, it really just highlights how poor our midfield was back then.

Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad
Well Bernie definitely stays in now.

Nic Nat and Max Gawn
I don't disagree with you for a second that Max is the superior ruckman and as you've pointed out in your last sentence, the media pump Nic up more than anyone and it's essentially what earned him the guernsey back in '12 when I think it was Sauce Jacobs to wear. But Nic Nat's ruck taps can be sublime and on par with Gawn's this year.
-
Nic Nat and Max Gawn
He is an exceptional tap ruckman when fit and for him to do what he's done on 60% TOG this year is very impressive. The perception of him being overrated was in part due to the 2012 AA guernsey he got when he didn't deserve it.

There is a role for Bugg
Yeah, I agree but I still think he'd offer more to Carlton than half the players they've got running around on the park. They've coughed up overs for GWS rejects in the past...
-
There is a role for Bugg
It's a bit more complex than that. Here's the clip from OTC where Roos discusses it. Starts talking trades around the 2 min mark. Roosy's blueprint for Carlton
-
MFC025
Pfft! They sure don't make 'em like they used to.
-
There is a role for Bugg
His name along with a few other MFC players including Stretch were thrown up last night by Roos on Fox. Was in reference to the Blues turning pick 1 into 5 or more players through multiple trades. I'd be okay with Bugg netting us a pick in the the second round but I'd prefer to keep as depth if any offer is lower than that.
