  1. Far better players than Judd do. It always amazes me how supporters of this club default to blaming this club for everything. Judd was given a very good deal, which was amended multiple times at his request.
  2. Well, according to "definitely not his dad", he was lied to by Goody about his role, and he doesn't trust that King won't push him back to defend if we have injuries. So yes he very much wants what he wants, and doesn't think he can get it at Melbourne. Freo, known for their honesty, success, and ability to get the best out of players, has obviously signed him to a contract that stipulates that he must never defend deep again. I mean if you play for a side that's finished 14th twice in a row, and you can't crack a spot in the side that you want, maybe you are part of the problem. But to each their own.
  3. Judd reckons players rule the roost, and he wants out. But Judd also reckons he has the right to demand from his coach where he plays. So he too, is trying to rule the roost. The ironing is delicious.
  4. SHUT UP KANE!
  5. How do they get enough points for their two top 10 academy picks? Also we have said 100 times we don’t intend to trade Trac for picks alone Gold Coast are not going to budge on their stance until/unless Humphrey comes out and requests a trade home and nominates us. While he isn’t saying he wants out, why would they blink?
  6. I [censored] hate Freo Loser underachieving purple freaks with youngest brother syndrome I would get sick pleasure if we sent Judd to West Coast via the PSD
  7. You when we signed Clarry Also you “WHY DID WE SIGN HIM FOR 7 years” You love to pretend like you know everything so let’s go with your version of events at whatever point in time it suits you
  8. He’s been with us in drafting and list management since 2012 https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/130821/lamb-choice-cut-for-dees By the way Lamb and Jason Taylor work together to identify potential trade targets. People talk about Lamb like he’s Putin. He doesn’t get to operate in a vacuum. He needs approval from a whole host of people to sign deals. Especially big deals.
  9. Dunno. Ask Carlton and Geelong who had similar offers on the table for him. If we lost him to another club, you would be the first one to pot us as a mess. And your perception of Trac as a professional may not be totally true. Is he professional on field? Sure. But his behavior the last 18 months has been incredibly toxic and not at all professional for a senior player on big bucks.
  10. You know very well that once players have only a year left on a deal, you lose heaps of leverage We didn’t need to re-sign Kosi now either but we got the opportunity to and so we jumped at it Clarry was arguably the best player in the competition. And we are a small club. When you get lucky enough to find these types of stars you move heaven and earth to keep them. Trac hasn’t worked out how we planned either. But you have to take those risks to keep those players happy when they’re at their peak. Every club does the same. Ffs Richmond gave Balta a 7 year deal 😂
  11. I will also die on the outside
  12. I think because we started with Humphrey AND they were like no way In the end if Humphrey pushes to leave we will probably settle on a straight swap +|- pick swaps But he has to ask to leave. Because once he requests a trade, what can GC do? They say no, miss out on Trac and have an unhappy kid who wants to go home.
  13. Clarry had multiple similar offers at the time. Would anyone here be happy to lose him given his form at the time?
  14. It’s a no way, to no way unless, to he’s forced our hand Everyone needs a few days to swing their [censored] around and feel good
  15. So in other words, he has to ask for a trade and make it clear he’s leaving to go home. Either it’s now for Trac or when he’s out of contract for a packet of chips
  16. Immediately cancel the deal
  17. Have we ever seen a player want to go 'home' and the team with pick 1 in the PSD is in his home state, has all the money to burn, a coach who knows the player and a burning desire to stop being hot garbage? Freo would not want to take the risk that Mini, who really rates Judd, pounces first and backs himself in to make Judd a midfielder, which is his real dream.
  18. Correct, and Trac's ego suggests that he will have a big 'I'll show Dimma' chip on his shoulder, should Gold Coast choose a kid over him. So he will definitely be out to prove a point. And even if he just goes thru the motions, like he did this year, he will still play a valuable role in the team. While we all want him gone, including him, the club, his teammates and all of us who want Humphrey, we also don't have much to lose if he stays. And this is the upper hand that Lamb has here.
  19. Not to mention Trac comes in and takes his role.
  20. Like he was 100% gone? Please
  21. I would definitely demand a future pick for a better draft next year, or a first rounder this year, and if Freo don't budge, so long farewell enjoy West Coast. To bend over to Judd and Freo for a pick we won't be using in this year's draft anyway, is a far worse outcome than to let him walk for nothing. Sometimes you just have to put your foot down.
  22. Or did they say it to save face because Trac was never going there anyway?
  23. If you don’t get all your trade news from your barista, are you even a Melbournian?
  24. Straight to the PSD Worth it to screw both Freo and Judas McVee over I wouldn’t want us spending anymore seconds on this guy
  25. If we don’t resign him now, we risk being held over a barrel later. Simple. And Viney and Kosi are not on the same planet I’d have let Viney walk, but Kosi is a generational talent who was in hot demand and a major flight risk If he agrees to a long term deal you RUN to get it done. And let’s not pretend like any other club in our position wouldn’t do the same Saints would love to have locked up NWM for that long.
