I vowed that I will never watch Collingwood play again except when we play them. They are dead to me. I wish them nothing but misery for the rest of eternity.

We have 2 games in 5 days coming up. In no world can Petty and Ben Brown play both those games. It makes sense to play Petty and sub him off for Ben Brown or vice versa. Also possible that JVR will do more rucking this week to help Gawn and keep him fresher and that means we can play both JVR and Ben Brown together.

Melbourne have been in his ear for about 4 years now, and he's often in the rooms with Gawn. How could you pass up the chance to learn from one of the all time great ruckman and play at the MCG in front of a big crowd for the club your father played for... when the alternative is playing for the Gold Coast Suns Would be shocked if he picked the academy route over the F/S.

Petty?

This is an area that I think many supporters want to see improved, but few truly understand the value of. As someone who has been in product and brand management for almost two decades, the value of social media, communication and brand marketing in this day and age is enormous. Getting this area right will go a long way to sustained membership numbers and engagement in our club, especially for our younger demographic which IMO is poorly represented amongst our supporter base thanks to decades of poor on field performance. I look forward to seeing this area of our club improve not just our brand, but also the bottom line.

How privileged we are to have 4 bonafide stars play for our club. Clarry, Trac, Gawn and May are in the top 1% of the league in their respective position. Pretty amazing, when you think back a decade ago when we would argue about our lack of A graders with only Jones getting close.

Yeah I’m really confused what their defense will be? Even tho no damage was caused, we know that potential to cause injury is a suspendable offense, and if flipping an opponent over and kicking them (when the ball isn’t even in play!) isn’t potentially risky, I’m Batman.

I agree. I think Petty and BBB should play one game each in SA. Petty against Port, to give Ben Brown a break after 2 games, and then possibly Ben Brown to replace Petty against Adelaide if he needs extra time for his foot to recover. Then we will have to backup against Brisbane which will be tough, before a bye.
