If we pissfart around on the Grundy trade how many other trades would we have struggled to complete? Every year we move deals quickly and end up completing more deals than just about any other club. Geelong made no trades because all week they fought Port only to end up with two picks they’ll never use anyway. No logic.

It’s why I think North won’t want to give away 2 and 3, as it’s as good a hand as 1, and therefore the only chance West Coast have of having multiple picks inside that top 12 is to trade pick one with us. Of course they may back themselves in and take pick 1 to the draft and take Reid and hope he doesn’t do a runner.
