  1. They have clearly never seen Williamson umpire a Melbourne game. He hates us.
  2. Who is as likely to jump ship back to Victoria as any number 1 pick in the history of the draft IMO. If West Coast deserve a priority pick, don't the Hawks? Hell give Essendon one, they haven't won a final in 20 years.
  3. This is going to be a much harder game than most people think. Adelaide are not a bad team, and they are under the pump. With May sore, Viney possibly sick, Clarry with a bung hand and Trac and Chandler also sore, I think it will be a tight contest.
  4. They have known and planned for this 5 day break. I trust that they have a carefully executed plan heading into a bye soon.
  5. Get absolutely [censored] They won a flag in 2018 and are the richest club in the AFL
  6. Oscar Allen goes alright, although is currently injured. A player you can build a spine around.
  7. Expecting Walker to test May’s ribs out tomorrow night if he plays
  8. Flu? Covid? Gastro? Hope he's ok!
  9. And how Oliver can play with a finger dislocation is also interesting. I think when you’re Oliver or May or Trac you are deemed fit to play even when you’re underdone because even if you’re in pain and not going at 100%, you are still better than most alternatives. I would say that only if an injury can get worse by pushing through pain, that these key players are basically just playing through adversity and a lot of pain killers each week. Also some players clearly have a higher tolerance than others. May played with a 6cm hamstring tear in a grand final. As if a few broken ribs would keep him out.
  10. Wow Turner has made a very quick recovery. I thought he had a leg injury not a hip injury? Either way, it's good news if he's only one week away as he covers the loss of Hore. I am sure he will have to spend some time with Casey, but it's good news anyway. Also is McAdams just permanently stuck on 2-4 weeks? Are they generating a new hamstring for him in a lab or what?
  11. Steven May also makes mistakes and I would fight anyone who says he isn't the best defender in the game. Juddy is an absolute star in the making. Holding down the best small forwards in the game in his first season just proved that, and his ability to hit the contest at pace and not only defend but also attack, makes him super valuable. Speaking of which, Howes has just quietly slotted into the best backline in the AFL and not put a foot wrong. Certainly exceeded my expectations of him!

I expected Hawks will lose by 80, so this is a surprising result

Someone should tell Hawthorn half time is finished
  17. Those complaining about Kosi going for marks, need to understand that Kosi is an instinctive player. If you try to rob him of the freedom to be the unique player he is, you will ruin him. He is so special and does things very few are capable of. It’s what makes him so good. He should be given license to go for goals and marks he believes are realistic, so long as he’s not burning teammates in the process. He does more than enough at ground level to fly for a few marks here and there.

Interesting comments from Goodwin in today’s presser “He’s loving his time at Melbourne and that’s where he’ll be”

I love it. I hate Hawthorn and I hate Mitchell I also hate Geelong tho, so….
  21. I never said we are avoiding one wing, but it’s natural to assume that we are utilizing Ed more while Windsor works on his tank. Langdon spent just 10 minutes on the bench on Saturday, whereas Windsor spent 30 minutes on the bench. So of course we are playing thru Ed more than previously when we had Hunter and Gus to complement him, both who had excellent endurance and also rarely came off for a rest.
  22. I doubt Ben Brown will do much training this season, let alone between short breaks. Does Trac have any visible bandages or strapping?
  23. A real shame as he’s had a great start to the season.
  24. Any updates on Clarry, Chin and May would be great
  25. This is what happens when your family tree is actually a wreath.
