I LOLed! I remember back in the good old days, there were literally 15 posters on this site, they were all old and knowledgeable and I was a pleb. Quality must have significantly decreased since then because I don't think I could make the top 15 idiot list on this site anymore.

For all intents and purposes, he was pick 164 or something like that. We honestly have nothing to lose. If the decision came down to him and PJ, than please give me someone who has proven in the past he can be a premiership ruckman.

Absolutely brilliant. The first away strip that doesn't make me want to projectile vomit, and which successfully keeps the integrity of our actual jumper. Fantastic amount of detail, but still very simplistic and powerful. Great to see we finally managed to get the colours right as well. Must have to do with the increased absorbency of the new fabrics that NB are using. Good stuff. I love this club even more now!

I thought that you of all people would get the joke. You're just saying that all publicity is good publicity, but I for one would not like to have our name associated with sex romps, drunk scandals or Ashley Hansen.

I don't think the club would bother having him do pre-season with us if they weren't at least entertaining the thought of putting him on the rookie list. Given how deep the picks went in this year's draft, coupled with GWS and GC once again demolishing the rookie draft, I would think that it's better the devil you know. McNamara has more of a chance of making it than the 97th player picked in this year's rookie draft (and more of a chance of making it than Newton). He was a bottom age KPP picked in a relatively good draft afterall.

Wouldn't be surprised if in getting Howe, who is a more mobile forward with elite endurance, we're hoping to be able to push some of the guys who have been occupying our forward line out of sheer necessity to the half back line. I'm thinking Bennell especially, who has the skills to become a serious attacking weapon out of defense, perhaps even Tapscott. That then releases Grimes into the midfield where he truly belongs. Everybody wins!
