  1. The bitter disappointment that is the MFC
  2. Hot garbage. Literally. It’s hot and this game is garbage. Embarrasing.
  3. Been good so far. Done his bit. Good attack on the ball.
  4. Nice to see Watts trying to be a hard man and giving away frees. Loser.
  5. We look spent. Too many underdone players and our midfield is struggling. Gawn having a shocker, Oliver, Viney and Gus extremely quiet. Trac done nothing. May and Lever in, Hore and Frost out ASAP.
  6. Nervous. Very. Very. Nervous. I don’t have a good feeling about today and the miserable Melbourne weather isn’t helping. Go Dees!
  7. Stretch must be hanging on by a thread.
  8. As the game gets closer, I get less and less confident. We have a few underdone players and I worry about their forwardline. The mids will win it as always. On paper our midfield looks a class above theirs, but this is Melbourne. We could equally win or lose by 100 points. Feels like this new season has crept up on us very quickly. Must be because we actually played past August last year.
  9. The worst thing someone struggling with mental health issues can do, is mix up with the wrong crowd. It sounds like his “mates” that he so desperately wanted to get back to, are the wrong crowd. Mix that with a footy club that has a poor culture and a failed history of handling troubled players badly, and you have a recipe for disaster.
  10. Our backline is not filling me with confidence. I suppose we won 2 finals with a similar lineup. But May getting himself suspended is really going to hurt on Saturday. A few underdone players too Not confident as I was hoping to be, but maybe just MFCSS kicking in on the eve of a new season
  11. F right off! Poor Vanders he really can’t take a trick. I love what he brings to the side so not a good start to our season really. Not to mention our stupid stupid stupid call to let Joel Smith to play out an irrelevant practice game and injure himself. Seriously dumb!
  12. Anxiety is a horrible and debilitating thing to deal with. Anyone who has had it would know what a struggle it is. It impacts every part of your life and when you’ve gone thru as much as he has, it’s little wonder. I wish him all the best and hope he gets himself sorted. He has so so so much talent and deserves a long and successful career.
  13. A fashion abomination
  14. The tribunal is a joke. The MRP is a joke. Steven May doing something borderline suspendable in a praccy match is a joke. Clowns the lot of them.
  15. Bottom line is, it was a silly thing to do. I like that he plays the line, but if he keeps crossing it, it will hurt the team. Should know better. Really disappointing.
  16. Thanks for sharing. Any idea what AVB is getting scanned? Poor guy has had a terrible run of injuries. Hope it’s all ok and not his ankle playing up again.
  17. Is it weird that I’m happy Viney has a thigh issue? As long as the foot is ok! Wonder what’s wrong with AVB. The other 3 absentees are self explanatory.
  18. Motherfudger A horrid day compounded (no pun intended) by injuries. Thank you next.
  19. Has anyone ever deserved a punch more than Mitch Robinson?
  20. Joel Smith on one leg is better than Joel Smith on two legs? ?
  21. Hunt is just so dumb. Why?
  22. Or at least stick him at FF away from the action.
  23. He’s still playing so mustn’t be too bad
  24. Can this game just end already? It’s an injury a minute at the moment.
