Firstly that is totally false. Players get tired during seasons, if he’s coming off a low base it’s not going to magically improve with the bash and crash style of footy he plays. Seasons are made in the off season. Remember 2019? We had a shocking off season of injuries and subsequently a horrible season on the field. Secondly I love how everyone conveniently forgot that he had a nasty hand injury which he played with and then had an operation on. Given his hands are his strength, that is a massively debilitating injury to overcome. He is one of the greatest ever players to pull on the red and blue. Yet he cannot be afforded a smidge of leniency. How will fans go when Trac returns to play and is not the same player? Because that’s a big possibility. Will we try and [censored] him off if he doesn’t immediately return to his previous form?

Is Bedford appealing? I hope so! Cameron deserved at least a week. But of course he’s a nice bloke so 0 weeks. The AFL is a circus.

Who do we think would take being sub better; Gawn or May?
-
Would make a great sub. Real impact player.

They beat us last year when they were hot garbage. I am sick of them stealing our players and then beating us.
-
I liked him better when he was getting fired for misogyny
-
It really annoys me that we've let this nothing club have the wood over us. It's time to put an end to it.
-
He's cooking up a storm on his TikTok. I may be wrong, but I believe he is still in partial isolation given the state of his immune system post the spleen laceration. Plus he has had his appendix removed what, two weeks ago? I saw that he liked Melbourne's Instagram post following our win against Essendon.

If Rory Lobb or Jake Stringer step foot at our club, I will throw up faster than Gawn can say Scully. Absolutely categorically hell to the no.

This is not about the fans, it's about the media spewing absolute garbage about a player who has been through a hell of a lot and deserves peace and quiet. Yes I understand these morons are out to make headlines, but after the despicable way they targeted him in the off season, I have run out of patience with their garbage. Tom Morris in particular should know what it feels like to have your dirty laundry aired publicly. Yet it hasn't stopped him being a bin diving grub. Talk about the team, our performance, no issues. Stop getting stuck into a guy who has worked so damn hard to better himself and his mental health.

I never blocked you, I just try not to engage in fruitless debate anymore

Goody is telling Clarry that he will come visit him on the farm in Geelong

Kane suggesting we need to move Oliver on to get rid of his contract, I believe the word 'desperate' was used, is a total load of BS! I mean if that moron has done any research he'd know that our salary cap is in a good place with Grundy and Gus both gone. As for Tom Morris, he seems to keep wanting to drag our club down. You can suggest that any player with any type of issue is a possible trade option, but this constant need to bring Oliver up in his reporting is boring and tiresome. If either of these tools did a smidge of research and watched the Kosi doco, then would they have really come to the conclusion that we desperately want Clarry gone or that we are even open to discussing trading him? Like really? What next, Melbourne is desperate to move Trac on because his spleen is no good? The lack of total accountability from any fool with 2 braincells in the media is baffling.

He certainly triggers his female colleagues. Just ask them 🙄 Oliver is going nowhere while Goodwin is our coach. I know some on here would love a two for one trade deal and to get rid of both, but it’s not happening. Kane told me Kosi was going home to SA. Turns out his home is in WA and he signed a 4 year deal with us instead. Credibility = 0.

I’m sure most die hard fans were gutted that the 2021 flag was won interstate, I know I was and still feel a little robbed of the experience I always imaged when I dreamt of winning a flag. But that is not on Goodwin, and I feel like subconsciously a lot of our fans take that bitterness out on him, like Covid was his fault and border closures were his fault. Some coaches have been coaching their clubs much longer for a lot less success. Hell I don’t see Swans fans complaining because Longmire has lost four grand finals. Bigger picture is that Goodwin has the players. Jackson aside we haven’t lost a single top talent that we wanted to keep while he’s been the senior coach. We signed our stars to long term deals, we kept Kosi, we got May and Lever and Langdon who ultimately delivered us a flag. This is a very big part of being a successful coach, having the trust and confidence of the players. Getting more assistants or better tacticians is easy, getting a senior coach who delivers that message and is heard, is a totally different story. The players adore Goodwin and that is all that matters to me. Everything else in terms of game plans and tactics is changeable.

No. He won’t play again this year. We need to forget that fantasy.
-
Well I personally think he will come back, but I know people who would tell you it’s a possibility that he won’t.
-
Surely we don’t risk Gawn? But also we need to win.
-
I’m worried that it’s because there are no guarantees of when he will return next year.
-
I will eat my shoe if Clarry goes anywhere. He doesn't want to leave, and Melbourne won't trade him while he continues to behave off the field.
-
He’s the best thing to come out of Covid (except working from home). Went under the radar due to injury and also little to no exposure in junior levels. Picked up as a rookie. A rookie! I reckon he will be in the top 10 players in his draft year right now.
-
And now as a ruckman, which is a really physical role. Just as Max how many times a game he gets smashed into.
-
I still don’t understand what Bedford is suspended for? At best that’s a free for in the back. And somehow Maynard got 0 weeks. Just F off AFL!
-
He cycled home. You were close.
-
If we could duplicate him so we can have one up forward and one in the midfield at all times, that would be great. He's too good at both roles. Just so damaging. His evasive skills, but also his vision when he plays up the field is up there with the best mids in the game.
