Such a ridiculous comment Defensive forwards are very important in today’s game where most teams have an intercept defender. Lever, Moore, Andrews, these types of guys can absolutely win games. Having someone to mind them is critical in not only allowing your forwards to mark the ball, but in stopping the opposition from starting attacking chains from half back.

NON-MFC: Round 17
With Moore and Maynard playing, it's almost a certainty that someone from Essendon will get injured

Who knows. I hate all teams except Melbourne on different scales. Perhaps it's the team you hate least?

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
I don’t see the rush. He is a skinny key position tall. Why no rush on Adams? We can’t let our desperation ruin his development. He’s finally showing consistent form at Casey and that’s all you can ask of him this year. I remember every man and his dog wanted Roo to debut in 2022 and he was far more physically developed. Roo had plenty of time to develop physically and work on his game and therefore has been able to make consistent impact at senior level. I wish the same for Jefferson and I think 2025 will be his year to try and cement an AFL spot. If finals is out of question we may give him a game later in the season for a taste, but right now bringing him in is setting him up to fail.

Go look at some of the rubbish he and his partner put on social media. He is the most self absorbed, delusional player. Also commonly known that teammates dislike him and he cracks the sads whenever things aren't going his way. This will be his 4th club for a reason. Absolutely not worth it considering he's also a very ordinary footballer.

I guess the real question is, who does he replace in the side? If Petty isn't fit, then that's an easy swap, but it does mean that we go smaller up forward, especially when JVR is doing the ruck work. Not ideal. If Petty is right to go, he could come in for Kolt. And before anyone suggests it, no Fritta will not be dropped at this current moment. He had a better game last week on Andrews, and I want to see how he performs with Melksham back in the side.

Could be a great sub option…

We could genuinely use his leadership in our makeshift attack. Fritta is the most experienced forward we have and he’s not a leader, nor is he in great form. Having Melksham there to help the likes of Roo and Disco can only be a good thing. If he’s done enough match loading he can play as a deep forward. It’s not a position that requires him to have done a lot of match practice, especially with his experience. It just comes down to fitness.

I sincerely doubt Clarry will go anywhere while Goody is coach. Besides we need more midfield grunt not less. Clarry loves the club and according to Richo the club has fallen back in love with Clarry. Just can’t see it happening.

Is it possible that West Coast won’t have the money for Waterman if they want to sign Reid for 10 years? And remembering they have Oscar Allen he won’t be cheap.

Never have I said nor tried to imply that you are any less of a fan, and the 'good for you' is a compliment. I too rarely watch games beyond our own, and have completely stopped caring about what happens outside the four walls of our club. But unfortunately when our club and our players are consistently on the [censored] end of every decision, it's hard not to get triggered. I do take the rank media calling May a cheat to heart. I do get riled up when they're calling Kolt for taking a dive when Zorko hits him without the ball, but it's carry on for Maynard. It does infuriate me that we lose games due to complete umpiring fails time and time again. When you are invested in the outcomes of the club, and the club keeps getting royally [censored] up the [censored], then of course it's hard not to care.

Has Buckley called for Maynard to be suspended yet, or is he still a gutless Collingwood fanboy?
