Our Centre clearance work this season has been woeful. We need Viney back and we need Gawn to either learnt to do a better job tapping to advantage or we need to play Jackson in there as he wins his own ball.

Sydney are such a bore. I would hate to support such a boring team. I hate playing them for this exact reason. They grind you down. Missed too many opportunities in front of goal. Should be 4 goals up.

Centre clearances are a big issue. We won’t win this game if we can’t start controlling the play thru there. Sydney is loving this rolling zone rubbish. Whenever we broke free of them off the back we scored.

Low confidence today. This is going to be a big game. We looked exhausted last week, but I suppose we also only played about 25 minutes of proper pressure footy, so maybe that was our rest. A loss is inevitable at some point. Tonight could be the night. I worry about having both ends of the ground not fully settled yet with injuries and new key players coming in. And without Viney our midfield is very susceptible to losing clearances. It’s going to be a bloody good win if we can pull it off.

Not sure a player who has won multiple finals off his own boot can be described as a downhill skier.

Melksham must do something the coaches really rate. I don’t see it. But we are 7-0 so I can’t say they don’t know what they’re doing.

Harmes ahead of Sparrow is not rewarding current form, but hoping Harmes can capture his form from 3 years ago. I would be disappointed if that is the call they make. Especially as Sparrow is a much more like for like replacement for Viney. Baker medical sub to avoid dropping him after 1 game?

Anyone know if Buddy got thru training today?

The reason is because Tmac has been trash for 3 years and we needed a big mature body to help out Weideman. Make no mistake, the club planned to have Ben Brown and Weideman as our two key position forwards in 2021. Injuries and the unexpected form of Tmac have thrown those plans into disarray.
